Great pizza! One of the best crusts I have ever tasted. Only complaint is the brussel sprouts appetizer was coated in butter.
great food, friendly service
We love this place! My wife and I had our wedding reception here in their banquet room, and everything from the food, drink, and staff were top notch. I wanted to especially thank Mallory for the amazing help coordinating our event and also Ashley & Tommy who took great care of us and our guests on Saturday night. Thanks so much, we'll be back soon!
Nice foods and drinks and service of the staff.
Awesome restaurant, great happy hour, great food, great service!! We absolutely loved everything we ordered and we will for sure be going back!
Great location, great outdoor seating. I've only had lunch there and it is always delicious. The wine selection is quite extensive as well (Carboy Winery is in the same building). Also, the oysters are fresh and definitely worth ordering. Also, plentiful parking.
This place was amazing! The pasta tastes so authentic plus the sauce was delicious! The place is very pretty and very spacious! Everyone there is very friendly as well we will definitely be back soon!
2nd time here and nothing at all to criticize. The service, cleanliness, the wine.and the food all top notch. This is now our go-to date night, friends in town place to dine. Thank you Angelo's for your consistent amazingness!!! #Steviegphoto
An absolutely WONDERFUL place for relaxing conversation and delicious food. Ate lunch outside on the amazing patio!
Such a great place either for a date night or to bring the family for dinner! We ordered a mule and a strawberry Rita, both were absolutely amazing, we also ordered the ribs and spicy oysters both were mouth watering delicious ! We ordered our kids a cheese pizza and pasta with meatballs. The pizza was crispy and cheesy , the pasta and meatballs wasn't that great, it was a bit on the bland side. We ordered frutti di mari and it was fresh and flavorful. We polished off our great meal with tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert. Highly recommend and can't wait to be back!
I have had so many lovely lunches and dinners at Angelo's. This is one of my favorite places to take friends visiting after a walk or bike ride on the platte. Angelos has a wonderful atmosphere both inside and out. The patio spaces makes you feel well separated from your neighbors and the additional first come first serve seating in the grass makes this a good place to stop by for happy hour even if you don't have a rezzie. For dinner inside, make sure you have that rezzie tho or you will be waiting a long looooong while. On tap wine from carboy next door is amazing and their house classes start at $7. All the pasta dishes are really good. Some of my favorite items are the mushroom gnocchi salad, bolognese, all the raviolis and the garlic oysters!! Everything you try will be delish!
The food here is great, and came out fast especially since they were busy. I was satisfied with all of our food, service, and the cleanliness of the restaurant. We definitely will come back here again. They have a great happy hour as well, all of the prices were reasonable. One the best experiences Ive had going out here in Colorado.
O M G! You have to try this place. We moved within walking distance, so we've been a few times now. The relleno ravioli is awesome. It looks like an Italian dish, but tastes just like a Mexican dish. It's kind of weird at first because your taste buds aren't in line with what your eyes are looking at. But trust me, it is delicious. The boys loved the "original" chargrilled oysters and the chipotle chargrilled oysters. The burrata is also a great appetizer. It comes with a decent sized burrata ball with an olive tapenade, pesto, and tomato jam along with toasted bread. I layer all of those flavors together - it's so good. The arancini is really good, they are fried risotto cakes. Can't go wrong with fried anything. The balsamic glazed ribs are a little crispy, sweet, and have an Asian flavor. The bolognese is tasty, not a ton of meat, but still really good. The arugula in the steak gorgonzola fettuccini adds a great flavor to the dish. I didn't care too much for the vodka sauce, the meatball, or the bruschetta. But there are so many wonderful dishes to chose from. The desserts have all been really good to. You can't go wrong with any of them, but my favorite is the tiramasu. I'm also a fan of the pear mules there. They are really refreshing on these hot days. Check them out! Cheers!
After spending some time at Breckenridge Brewery next door, my friend and I walked over to Angelo's Taverna as the sun went down. We got a little lost and probably should have driven, but it's a pretty area to be explore. The restaurant seemed packed, but we were fortunately able to sit at the bar right away. Such a fun, lively vibe! We ordered a glass of house wine and the Butternut Squash Ravioli. It's one of those menu items that keep catching your eye when you try scanning the rest of the page for a better option. SO many great choices! I want to come back and try more, i.e. lamb lollipops and lobster gnocchi. The ravioli was good, though I ended up adding a little extra salt. Another great spot in Colorado to have a group outing or date night, especially if you pair it with Breckenridge Brewery. Though I live a little far from Littleton and might try the Denver location at some point, this was totally worth the further drive. And next time I won't forget to check out their $1 oyster happy hour special!
This place is fabulous. I could have oysters every day of the week!!! Professional and friendly, even the management makes you feel like you've been family friends for ever!! I feel like Jacqueline on a Rozann budget. Gotta love it.
