I was so happy to stumble upon this place with my cousin because it's like I dreamed it up myself. Sweet and savory butters with fresh hot bread? That's all I ever want to eat and in fact I'm genuinely sad I'm not there right now. There are many different flavors of butters to choose from along with other food if you want breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. It is beautiful inside and felt like it may have been transported from the French countryside. The artwork on the walls are gorgeous and makes staring at the menu while you debate ordering every butter a huge pleasure. The owner was so kind and happy to talk to us about the various butters as we decided. My favorites were the Rosemary Sage, French Countryside, and Song of India. They were just full of flavor and delicious. I hope to be back soon and I HIGHLY recommend making the trip to visit because it is absolutely worth it.

What could be better than a butter bar? Bella La Crema’s butter flights (a selection of butters served with warm French bread) are the reason to come, but you’ll love their delicious, HUGE entrees, too. Owner Shauna is a perpetual friendly face, and you can tell her heart is really in her craft of buttermaking, serving delicious food, and creating a warm and hospitable place for both Lyons residents and visitors from all over. You can also buy butters to take home, and they ship!

This little corner of Lyons has such a unique vibe. We started with the butter flight, which was such a fun way to taste 4 of their butters-all delicious beyond measure. The French bread pizza was delectable. The cinnamon chicken was so hearty and flavorful. Now we're waiting on some french toast for dessert. My mouth and my stomach could not be happier.

Seriously...Best food I've had out in a long time. Plus great service. Everything was 5-star.

I stop here on our way out of Estes Park. The food was delicious! I was unable to buy some butter due to a long drive ahead of us.

A local treat! If you are tired of the same old same old, burger and fries, get over there hungry and wait for your turn to try their one of a kind flights of butter. And yes, exquisite hot tea will accompany that. Apart from the food, everything a restaurant has to offer is top: the decor, the service offered by the young lady with a smile, and clean washrooms.

Awesome butter, french crepe like no other and the beautiful Rachel and Shawna to take care of you, just a great place ?

Incredible food and service. I had the chicken stew. It was perfectly cooked. The kids had pizza. The shop is decorated just like you would expect a French restaurant to be. I really liked the private quiet of the dining room. A must visit gem in the town of Lyons!
If you love butter - sweet or savory - make a stop! The fresh baguette with the butter sampler is the way to go. The only down point is the menu for other food choices is limited, so be aware going in...but you can make up for that with the bread/butter options alone.

Their is no other place like Bella La Crema! I purchase the butters and love the suggested recipes on Instagram! During the close down unfortunately wasn't able to dine at the store, so looking forward this summer 2021 and can't wait to try the Burrata Bomb , baked on a pastry with tomato compote!

I didn't realize I needed butter flights in my life. You need them too. This place is fantastic and definitely worth the trip from Denver or from anywhere for that matter. The space is very cool. Loved the descriptions of the butters on the wall that told a story. We ordered a butter flight (2 sweet and 2 savory served with a warm and crusty half baguette), the quiche and a fantastic salad that had strawberries, burrata and these amazing crunchy coconut clusters. The food was great. The only thing I thought fell a bit short was the quiche....loved the presentation but it was missing some oomph. If you find yourself close to Lyons, you should stop by. Come on....everything is better with a bit of butter.

Gem of a spot in Lyons, we stopped here on our way back to Denver from Estes Park, at foot of Rocky mtn national park. Simple dishes made with well sourced ingredients, and that butter left me speechless. Will definitely be back
