We arrived on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm to have a late lunch. There were a few people eating but for the most part it was empty. That should be expected since it's an odd time for lunch. The server was very nice and made sure the rice didn't have bell pepper since my aunt is super allergic. The chips were fresh and the table salsa was spicy. The horchata is good and not overly sweet but still sweet. They don't have green chile without pork, so keep that in mind if you don't eat meat. They only have pork tamales, so just know that ahead of time. I suspect the refried beans have animal lard in them due to the consistency and flavor - if not, they are magicians. ? The food was fresh and the portions are VERY big. If you are visiting Olathe for any reason or just passing through, this place is easy to access from Hwy 50. The prices are very reasonable so give them a nice tip if you come! ?Vegetarian options: Be sure to ask about their beans if you are a vegetarian.

Amazing family resteraunt. Much of the menu is authentic, and portions are to be commended. When you ask for a side of guacamole with the complimentary chips, boy do they deliver.
