This is the most underrated restaurant in Steamboat! The food is incredible! Like make your mouth water thinking about it and have you dreaming about it for years kind of incredible. The service is so welcoming, friendly and inviting not to mention very knowledgeable about the menu. We loved this place so much that we came for dinner 2 of the 3 nights we were in town. Can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back here when we’re in town again!

Our entire table’s food was incredible. Ate in house. Ordered Pad See Ew, Garlic Chicken, Panang Curry, and Crab Delight (Crab Rangoon). Would order everything again. Flavor, spice, and temperature of food were all 10/10.

We got the golden cashew, which was exceptionally delicious, was in a large portion, and priced reasonably. The highlight of the dish was the mushrooms, which were perfectly cooked—warm, but still crunchy.
We also had the Chu Chu salmon (pictured), which is beautiful, fried, flaky, and has an amazing sauce.
This is a small mom and pop place with good food, but isn’t fine dining, so don’t come here and then remove a star because of the small dining area. That’s a you problem, not a them problem.

Dinner last night Wednesday .We loved this place!!! The people that worked there are just the best, so kind! And Padthai & Seeeww & noodles soup was delicious. One of the highlights of our trip. Thank you so much, we’ll be back if we’re ever in town again!

Although the location is convenient, I wish I had driven elsewhere. The food was not good at all. We had Beef See Ew, and the beef was over-marinated and had a very weird texture. The Basil Fried Rice with shrimp was awful--the shrimp itself was okay, but the rest of the dish was nasty.

The vibes are great. A togo order was placed and green curry..yellow curry..chicken dumplings were ordered. Jasmine rice came with it. The spice inspite of request was high. Great footfalls..

We live in Steamboat Springs and have eaten here a few times. Last night I ordered the Green Curry with shrimp, which I have had here before. In less than two hours I was vomiting it up. I called Talay Thai the next day to report my food poisoning and was hung up on after revealing the reason for my call. If they would have handled my call differently I would not have written this review.

In this area, the prices are very reasonable and portions are in good sizes. No outdoor seating and indoor seating is comfortable. Friendly service. The presentation of the first dish surprised me. The rice and the main dish were on the same plate. The rice from other dishes was served separately, but still a bit sloppy. Maybe the kitchen was extremely busy. Other than that, the food was excellent.

Cheesy place with Denny’s ambience. They screw you with a little 3 percent change for nothing so be sure to subtract that from the tip. There’s a better Chinese food place in town. This restaurant survives on a captive audience near the resort. They should use that 3 percent ripoff fee to improve their product.
