The food here used to be good- but it just isn’t anymore. It’s not fresh, it’s not flavorful, and it’s way over priced. Our booth was dirty, the floor was a mess, and it just looks like no one cares anymore. I can cook much better food at home for a fraction of the cost.

Valentine’s Day fell on Ash Wednesday this year, being practicing Catholics, we could not eat meat. I really wa salmon and this was the only place I knew that offered salmon in town. My husband was not thrilled and did not want to go back. We had been in November for my birthday and the service was terrible and the restaurant had an awful sewer smell (I assume something may have been wrong with their hvac system, giving off that smell) agaisnt our better judgment we gave them another chance. We were there around 6, it wasn’t terribly busy, but steady. There was always open tables within sight of us. We ordered the valentines “special” (there was nothing special about it) it came with an appetizer to share, an entree each with two sides (we both got the salmon) and then a shared desert. The price was nowhere listed on the “special menu” I now understand why. I would too be embarrassed if I was charging $60 a person as a “special price”. My ordered a baked potato as his side, and when our food finally came out the waitress says, I’m sorry we’re out of baked potato, I hope mashed potatos are okay. He asked if he could at least get a side of gravy for his mashed potatoes. It took 15 min minutes for her to bring that. (Again, it wasn’t terribly busy) I have the most patience and understanding for waitstaff. His meal was finished by the time she brought the side of gravy. I did really enjoy the salmon and thought it was well prepared. We were a bit shocked when we got the bill and it was $60 a person (our total was $150, my husband had 2 beers with our meal.) the salmon on the regular menu was less than $26. (an appetizer is $12, and dessert is $12 ish) how is this a special? my husband called the next day thinking there was an honest mistake made, and nope. that was the correct total. (how can anyone say that special and price out loud and think that sounds normal?) We travel often, and eat at some very renowned restaurants and have never seen anything like this. ? unfortunately, unfortunately, we will not be back.

We went there specifically for the prime rib valentines day special, ordered, then twenty minutes later they came back and told us they ran out. We waited two hours to get our food. Service was terrible. To top it off, the special costed more than if it was priced out individually. We were taken by surprise that it was $60 per person, not $60 for the entire special, which is what we first understood. Not going back.

Great place to come for a celebratory meal or a quick bite. A nice variety of menu options without being overwhelming. Salmon was delicious served with fresh green beans. Nice atmosphere with a seasonal patio with fire table. Experienced, observant waitstaff.Kid-friendliness: A family restaurant.

This is a hidden gem in Colorado! The food was SO good and the waitress was awesome. Definitely stop by this place of you are in the area!
There is a good assortment of cuisine here, so you may find something you enjoy. Excellent meal and service, but the menu states that supper includes either a soup or salad, and they charge more for a salad and onion rings. When you order, servers should inform you of these further fees. Customers should be surprised by the caliber of the cuisine and the level of service, not by all the extra fees. Just a thought.
