I’ve been coming to Fontenot’s in Winter Park for over 10 years, and it never disappoints! The gumbo is absolutely amazing—rich, flavorful, and perfectly done every time. Their Shrimp Po’ Boy is another favorite, always fresh and packed with flavor. On top of the great food, the staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which makes every visit enjoyable. Fontenot’s has become one of my all-time favorite places in Winter Park, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Family run, kind, DELICIOUS. I cannot recommend this place enough. We booked a buy out for a rehearsal dinner and it was absolutely top notch. Everyone in the restaurant is essentially family and they made us feel right at home. The owners worked with us to create a stellar menu & they were so personable - even letting our bride’s dog join the party which made her cry happy tears. They were on top of everything from start to finish and the food was phenomenal. We feel so lucky to have picked Fontenot’s for our event. It was absolutely perfect & we will absolutely be back

We reserved Fontenot's for the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding. They were incredibly helpful making all of the arrangements long distance and coordinating with the wedding planner. It looked beautiful for our dinner. The servers were great and the food was delicious. Members of the wedding party and family had many complimentary remarks about the evening. We are so grateful to Fontenot's for helping to make this special occasion even more special.

This was by far the most amazing service at a restaurant I can think of. My twin brother is special needs, the waitress acknowledged him and actually spoke to him. Not many restaurants actually acknowledge him or speak to him. Thank you! The food is delicious. I tried some of the seafood sampler. I had the catfish with mashed potatoes.

Superb food and selection. Excellent drinks. I would go there again in a second. Waitress was very kind and fun too!
The waitress called Sue T was extremely rude and very pushy. She acted like she did not want to be there and it was not helpful explaining any of the dishes. We were very nice and left her a 18% tip, she honestly she not deserves it! I’ve never experienced such horrible service in my life . Please refund my tip back, she didn’t provide any service other than putting the food on the table.
