Food was adequate but certainly not exceptional. The QR code menu was very hard to use

Great place to drop by and get some good food. Stays open 24/7 to support Union Pacific workers passing through here.
Friendly staff, working hard to serve the railway workers and anyone passing through here. I ate late dinner (at 0100), and tried the Ranch breakfast the next day. Thanks folks.

Spoke to front desk: reviews citing “only open to hotel guests” are reflective of time during a labor shortage, I was assured by front desk that this wonderful diner is now fully staffed and own to everyone.

Cheap and open 24/7
Stayed at hotel and was lucky enough to have breakfast here - just like the rest of the US no workers ? they don’t have enough staff to be open to the public- she can’t handle that volume - very nice place great service

The lady was super nice and served us even though we were not staying in the hotel. Went 2 days later and a younger women refused us service with no customers in the restaurant.

My 92 year old Mother wanted to dine here after having a wonderful lunch here a year ago. We decided to get out and enjoy the aspen on the way over Gore Pass. We drove 48 miles thinking we would have lunch here, again. I checked the website to be sure we could eat here. It said Open. Upon arriving here, there were 2 other vehicles. So, we got out of the car and read the sign on the door in disbelief! There was a woman inside behind the counter and when my Mom asked if the restaurant was open, she came at us like a Banshee, yelling Did you not read the sign? The sign said, they were only open for the hotel clients. So, why is the website not saying this?! Why not just take the restaurant off the website, because it’s not open for the public. I won’t drive 96 miles for nothing, ever again.
When they will serve you, it's great!! The sign on the door says it's for hotel guests only, but one nice woman served us lunch even though we weren't staying at the hotel. Stopped in a couple other times and the other workers refused to serve us even though it was empty. Wish they would serve you if they weren't too busy.

We had stayed here before. Only place to stay before heading into mountains on horseback camping. It serves its purpose. Seems like they had tried to upgrade a bit since last stay. Room appeared clean but just wish we had had 2 beds instead of one full size bed for 2 adults.
