“This is my absolute favorite place to eat in Southern California! The flavors and quality of the food & smoothies are the absolute best. Everything I have ever tried is so delicious and healthy! Your body is fueled with such nutritious food that is full of flavor, you won’t be disappointed. I moved to another State and always eat at Vibe whenever I visit. So so good! The Jack fruit tacos are my favorite.Kid-friendliness: My kids love the Jack fruit tacos & the berry waffles!”
“AMAZING QUALITY! Hands down the best sushi spot in all of SoCal! Service is top notch and the freshness is unparalleled! I recommend the Snowflake Roll, Yellowtail Belly Carpaccio and the Ryan Hand Roll, you won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Leaf Me Alone roll”
“We waited over 2 hours to be seated on a Friday night but it was well worth the wait. It is honestly the best sushi I've had in awhile and for a price you can't beat. I can see why this place is highly rated on yelp. The quality of the fish was great, the taste was amazing, the service was prompt and friendly. It is great to see such a busy place run smoothly. All I have to say is bring your patience and appetite.Parking: It is located in a busy plaza. You should find parking within the plaza .”
“This place is amazing!! So beautiful and cozy. The food is delicious, the wine, the music, the vibe and atmosphere!! Gustavo is a sweetheart. Suggested recommendations, and went out of his way to make us feel fantastic! He went above and beyond to attend to my friend and I. Amber is also very sweet and attentive. My favorite spot from now on. The Tres muchachos, (owners) are very hands on and catering. I strongly recommend this spot to anyone! Beautiful for hosting events too. ??”
“Thanks to Chef Josef for his creativity and passion for crafting a high quality meal option for my wife who has severe food allergies. In many restaurants, she is left to pick some tasteless option, so we really appreciate Chef Joseph and can say that it’s because of him that we now come back over and over again.Dietary restrictions: Amazing support from Chef Josef on the severe food allergies we have to cater for when we go out.”

“A fantastic experience. I really felt inclined to write this review to discuss how phenomenal of a server Jake is (give this man a raise). I have certain food allergies and very rarely encounter servers that ask their guests about this before ordering. He asked about it right away and made sure to offer the best choices that were safe for me. On top of this, he checked in on our table multiple times to make sure everything was okay. I really appreciated his service, accommodation, and attention to detail. Will be returning soon!”
“This place is awesome. Last night was my second time going there. My friend recommended this place to me, because she lives in the area. And every time she recommend something to me or takes me somewhere to eat, it's awesome. The food is unbelievable. The service is friendly and top bar. The drinks are the bomb. The atmosphere is great. I was very happy both times. I would go back again in a minute! And definitely ask James to be your server. He was the best server ever last night. I think I might have had the best filet mignon of my life at this place last night. The grilled lobster is great. The seared scallops are the bomb. I highly recommend it.”
“While visiting Bloomingdales for the first time, we saw a picture of this restaurant’s signature xiao long bao on their window. We decided to come back to try out the different flavors of these soup dumplings. We didn’t come once, but twice. First time we ordered the dumplings, wonton soup, wood ear, and pork chop. For our second trip, we were joined by a visitor from Taiwan who shared with us this restaurant group’s brand of over 10 eateries all over Asia . And how lucky we were to have stumbled upon their first North American restaurant here in OC. For our second trip we tried fried rice, noodle soup, tofu, cucumber, and ordered two deserts, black sesame mochi, and red bean glutinous rice roll. Both were freshly made, soft, easy bite and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall the portions are not huge, as you might expect, the pork chop has a soft skin, not the crispy Japanese style pork Katsu. Every dish was well prepared. They even elevated the taste of a simple fried-rice. The decor is upscale modern, the service was prompt. The server patiently explained their menu, their signature and popular dishes for us to try. When we couldn’t finish our meal, our leftovers were packed in an insulated bag. Next time we are in OC, we would definitely have a meal there again. If you do try their soup dumplings, remember to start with the original flavor, then work up the flavors: black truffle, cheese, crab, garlic, BbQ pork, Szechuan and finally kimchi. No, the kimchi is not too intense, you can do it.Vegetarian options: One person in our group is a vegetarian so we ordered, several items from their vegetarian menu-tofu, cucumber, wood ear.”

“We ordered the battered fish tacos and grilled shrimp tacos. Everything was delicious. The wait staff is super friendly and attentive. It was packed in there and almost closing time when we went, but to see all the staff work together and get everyone taken care of quickly and efficiently was cool to watch and experience. The black beans are DELICIOUS! The Zucchini was grilled to perfection. If you haven't tried the grilled corn, do it... you won't regret it! The fries were PERFECT... the crunchiness was uniform on all of them, not a soggy one on the plate!”
“3 companions and I dined at Populaire Modern Bistro in South Coast Plaza on 2/21/24 and I ordered the prix fixe menu. We bought a bottle of wine separately. The PF menu was $65 per person and well worth it. Everything was spectacular. The blending of flavors with the heirloom carrots was unique. I'm not normally a huge fan of tartare normally, but it was really flavorful. The beef cheek was melt-in-your-mouth tender and even the rice pudding - which I can normally take or leave - had some wonderful, unexpected flavors. Don't be fooled by the "bistro" label. This was definitely a cut above the normal bistro fare of steak and frites or Croque Monsieur. Our server was warm and efficient. She was friendly enough to stop and talk but took her cue from us, which was much appreciated. The location used to be part of the Corner Bakery chain. It was remodeled in part, but it's in South Coast Plaza mall so not a ton of atmosphere. Once you taste the food, you won't care!”
“What a surprise & great evening we had. Jared behind the bar was awesome & full of suggestions. Def will be back! Burrata is a must.Parking: Industrial park so plenty of apitsKid-friendliness: Leave em home”

“Very good breakfast! From fluffy omelettes to delectable crepes, this French restaurant exceeded all expectations. Impeccable service and delicious cuisine made for a delightful morning experience.”
“was looking for a dessert place in OC and lo and behold, a italian ice and custard place! my friend and i came around night time and it was fairly busy. there was one man serving and cashiering so understandably there was a small wait. he was so kind and i can tell with every order he was being purposeful with the way he put it together. i ordered the strawberry milkshake and it was sweetness overload in all the right ways. i will say the italian ice itself is not too strong in flavor so i tried to make sure every bite had some custard with it. the place is bright and they have lots of variety of flavors so come and try it out!”
“A jewel at South Coast Plaza. I wanted to treat myself with tea @ Tiffany's and elevated my lunch with a caviar tasting experience. Truly appreciated the care and VIP treatment from the moment I arrived. I have had caviar before but this was a step up and learned the best way to enjoy my caviar tasting with guidance from Monica. Highly recommend Petrossian at Tiffany - no special ocassion needed - Treat Yourself!”

“I don't even like ice cream, it's one of my least favorite desserts. But you know what? I was HUMBLED. Stella Jean is THAT girl!!! Not to be the person that's like "sweet but not too sweet", but the ice cream here is truly that. I tried the Ube Pandesal, Mango Sticky Rice, and seasonal Earl Grey Tea Cake, and they all popped off. Rich, creamy, fun (you get the pandesal and rice element in the respective flavors) -- but without being grossly saccharine. We stan Stella!!!”
“Delicious açaí smoothie. Great service. Cozy spot with relaxing music playing in the background. Has 2 big tables and 4 bar stools. Plenty of wall outlets and has wi-fi.”
“I tried a Spicy Black Garlic Ramen and Edamame(with Garlic oil). Both of them were awesome. I chose the Tonkotsu soup base(spicy level 2) and it was very unqiue and delicious. Strongly recommended.”
“tiny tables hereHuge flavor, delicious bitescome with a good friend!Dietary restrictions: I'm GF and they were quick to let me know what on the menu was GF/safe for me to eat”
“Loved stumbling upon this vegan burger joint, especially with McD’s right across the street it was nice to see a veg competitor. They specialize in Impossible-patty burgers dressed up every way imaginable. The quality is superb, bread is perfectly fluffy, fries are crispy and soft on the inside, sauces taste much more gourmet than typical condiments you’d find. The chicken and fish patties are made with Gardein brand soy-proteins. They are stylized like a fast food joint with kiosk ordering and open seating inside. A burger, side and fries cost $26. If you don’t mind paying a premium for a vegan version of classic burger and fast food, this is a great option!Vegetarian options: All vegan everything”
“During my recent visit to Habana, I was thoroughly impressed with the outstanding level of hospitality provided. The ambiance of the place immediately sets a welcoming tone, but what truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service. After a brief wait, the manager personally approached us, showcasing their attentive and caring approach towards guests. Not only did they ensure our comfort, but they also generously took care of an appetizer and drinks for us. This gesture of kindness and the manager’s effort to go above and beyond left a lasting impression on us. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was delightful, but it was the warmth and professionalism of the staff, especially the manager, that made our visit unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend Habana to anyone looking for a dining experience that excels in both quality and hospitality. Five stars all the way!”

“Tonight was my fourth time at Que Vida. It never disappoints. VERY good food and the margaritas are amazing. They have a menu of several different ones to choose from. The el pastor tacos are the best that I've ever had and I've tried them at many many places. Chicken enchiladas are very hearty- full of meat and very delicious Not only is the food and drinks great here, but honestly the service is top notch. I always sit at the bar. “Fantastic dining experience, definitely Michelin star worthy. This is a small and in many ways understated restaurant with very limited seating. The experience is intimate and cozy, with the chef preparing and describing each dish. The sushi bar experience is definitely more of a show than the couple of tables they have. There is only one dining option which is a fantastic omakase.”

“Came here with some friends and had the best time. The margaritas were great, toasted coconut was out of this world. My favorite are the ribeye and the shrimp taco! Chef is great and came out to talk to my fitness and I, can't wait to come back! This spot doesn't disappoint!”
“We had a large party and were able to be seated quickly. Everyone was happy with their food and it came out in a reasonable time frame. They have very friendly staff.”
“Nice little place, it's literally a bar that serves pizza. We went for the happy hour. Both of us had a huge piece of pizza for 5.00 and an IPA we got in and got out for under $30.00.”
“Karina was a great cashier and very helpful. Excellent customer service. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. Mac and cheese was amazing as well. Love that they have vegetarian options as well. Overall, I'm super impressed with this location. Thanks for the great meal! I'll definitely be back again to try more of the menu.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower tenders, kale slaw, toast, fries, and shakes.Parking: Huge parking lot and shopping center.”
“I really enjoyed my first time at Vaca. The roasted cauliflower was incredible. I can't wait to have it again. The paellas are shareable. The restaurant gets really busy during happy hour. A lot of people stop by before walking over to Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Make sure to get there early or make a reservation.”
“Absolutely incredible! I popped it to try one of their mushroom tacos (which was delicious!) and the super friendly girl who worked there let me try the chips & guacamole and a drink on the house. Everything was delicious! I can't wait to come again and again and again!”
“Birthday celebration! What a great place for that to happen - Carpaccio was delicious, Butcher House fries (so yummy!) and perfectly cooked steak. Topped off with a most scrumptious apple tart. Will return soon!”
“Stopped in for lunch, the panini sandwiches are great. Huge selection of beverages. Everything is very reasonable priced. The star here though is the customer service, super friendly and attentive people. Would highly recommend!”
“My favorite Mexican restaurant!!! I used to live in the area and eat here regularly. Living in Colorado now but every time I am in SoCal this place is a must stop. Had an early dinner and mezcal margarita before heading to the airport last week. Awesome as usual!”
“Great service and quality food. The sashimi was beyond good ?. I recommend the salmon and tuna sashimi. The udon was pretty good, too. For appetizer, I recommend the calamari. Parking is tricky, though. Overall, 5 stars.”

“The food here is always amazing! Best Napolitano style pizza we've found outside of Napoli! The pastas and the gnocchi are amazing too. Wow! We crave it once a month minimum. The staff are so sweet and welcoming and always make us feel so welcome too!”
“First time trying vegan food and it was absolutely amazing. I loved the enchilada sauce they made. The Brussels sprouts were delicious and the soup was great too! Would definitely recommend to anyone!”
“I've been visiting this spot since they opened. Their food is delicious, well-made, and of course. Healthy. I get different variations of the avocado toast along with the healthy veggies sandwich. I absolutely love their almond butter smoothie. Their natural juices are also tasty. My boyfriend loves ordering chicken and turkey sandwiches from here, as well. The service is attentive and very polite. No complaints. The owner is sometimes at the shop, and he's very knowledgeable on any of the food items. The tables are always clean. I also like that they play so jazz and pop music to add character to the ambiance. Definitely a 5/5 star rating. Happy camper!Vegetarian options: They have a wide variety of options for the healthy conscientious.”
“Ordered pastas, pizzas, and a Caesar Salad. Everything was great with one exception. They put Panko crumbs on the salad (versus croutons) that made the Romaine gritty like it was unwashed. I'll order again, but will request no Panko next time.”
“First time visit after a long time hearing about the famous garlic noodles.I ordered the fillet mignon pot stickers - these were very good, then continued to the garlic noodles with grilled shrimp.I waited quite a while for the main course, even though it was late lunchtime and the place was quite empty. The garlic noodles were ok. Perhaps back in the day they were quite an exciting idea. But fusion cuisine has come a way since then and I found the dish to be a bit boring. The grilled shrimp were good.In terms of value for money, I'm afraid I was paying for the reputation and past achievements and not for the experience I actually had. Will probably try other places the next time I'm in the area.”
“I've been to Knife Pleat half a dozen times for dinner and generally, it's been quite good to excellent depending on the day. Some dishes fail to impress but generally speaking most dishes are exciting, novel, and suffice to say extremely tasty. The desserts in particular have been incredibly creative and interesting. I also find it refreshing to get so many vegetables in a meal of this caliber!Wine pairings have been excellent as well, and the head bartender is very, very skilled. The service is good. All the servers have been incredibly friendly, but the service has felt very rigid and unrefined at various points. What I mean by this is that they are trying very, very hard to do things the "correct" way that it feels very unnatural at times and a bit starling, like when they circle around the table and all stand behind each guest, pause for 2 seconds, then place the dishes down at the same time. I do greatly respect their ambitions, (I think they're going for 2 stars), but this sort of thing I just find silly and unnecessary, even if it was a 2 star.My biggest complaint is just how outrageously priced it is. $295 for 6 courses is deep into 2-star pricing territory. You add in a wine pairing and the mandatory 23% service fee and you're looking at almost $600 per person.I would truly love nothing more than for them to grow into this price point, but as it stands, the meal is quite overpriced.”
“Plums is the place we go when we're dying for a great breakfast or brunch!! The bacon! The Dutch Baby!! The Benedicts!! The Pancakes!! You will never be disappointed with this amazing spot.”
“Delightful Vegan menu; cocktail is powerful & deliciously pretty. Ryan provided pleasant & thoughtful services. This is a great reprieve after focus museum arts viewing.”
“Incredibly fresh fish with generous portions. The classic roles are perfect but even better than those are there unique roles. They balance the flavors really well while also have a nice texture, which is hard to do with sushi!Highly recommend for date night. Also, service was very incredibly good and really fast!!”
“Great spot! We celebrated a birthday here and it was a blast. Some people wanted to do all you can eat, and some people didn’t and they let us do both. The drinks, the sushi, the service…everything was awesome! Every roll was fresh and delicious.”
“I happened to stop by one day after lunch at Kitakata and was very pleasantly surprised. I've been a few times now and have tried their Kiwi Basil Green Tea and Strawberry Overload. Both have real fruit and are incredibly refreshing. As with other boba places, you can adjust the sweetness level. Service is professional and efficient, and the interior is clean and welcoming. Will likely be my go-to dessert place after ramen at Kitakata! Highly recommend a visit.”
“We took my father here while he was visiting. We listened to the waiter’s suggestions and had an absolutely delicious meal. This has become a regular stop anytime I’m in the area.”
“The food here is great, but has become a little too pricey. Yesterday we had 2 entrees and 2 glasses of wine, and the total was $120. The wine was $20/glass, and the entrees about $35 each.Parking: Parking is plentiful.Wheelchair accessibility: Am not in a chair, but I don't think there are any steps to this ground floor restaurant.”
“The cheese selection is always great. I tried the smoked Gouda and honey grilled cheese with prosciutto, it was amazing!!! The cheese and mustard dipping sauce was to die for. The best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. I hope they keep this on the menu.”
“My wife and I decided to dine at Sevilla’s last night and it was our absolute best dining decision in quite a while! Let me start off by saying Sevilla’s has an amazing Happy Hour and it now goes until 7pm and on weekends too!!!!! $10 cocktails, 50% off their cold and hot Tapas, like are you for real!? On top of that… each dish was incredibly delicious so hats off to the cooks. We also had the pleasure of having Paul be our waiter while he had a new hire shadowing whose name was Bryan. Bryan was respectful and observant on how Paul did his service so props to him.As for Paul… Sevilla is blessed to have such a genuine and engaging employee who gave amazing food and drink recommendations… always knew when to check in with us and when to let us be… he walked the line incredibly well and thanks to his service, Sevilla’s food and lastly the business owners decision to have such an amazing happy hour policy - my wife and I will be coming back routinely now.Thank you Sevilla for a lovely dining experience!”
“This is a Peruvian restaurant with passion and execution. It merits a Michelin Bib Gourmand! The food is nothing short of astounding! This is from a New Yorker who has spent time in Peru and loves that cuisine. They have really recreated true Peruvian dishes with just the right mix of spices and really fresh fish and seafood. I could have been dining at a fine restaurant in Cuzco!! The Branzino scallop clam and shrimp mage with jasmine rice and spicy cilantro tomato broth was otherworldly! And the classic ceviche was just that, classic. The Barman was a genius with the Pisco Sour and the wines by the glass were good accompaniments to the food. My hope is that with more people discovering Costa, it may find a somewhat larger spot, and expand the wine by the glass choices. But I haven't had a more authentic and brilliantly prepared Peruvian meal outside the Sacred Valley!! A must go!!”

“My experience here was great, powered by GREAT service. Candice A answered a bunch of first timer questions and was just pleasant in a world of unhappy humans.Grabbed a Left Coast Pastrami with secret sauce and it was what I would expect. Good bread, descent ratio of pastrami, warmed up and delicious.Sat at the bar and enjoyed great conversations and service from Ricky. 12 beers/seltzer on tap. 10 other canned beer/wine. 3 TVs across the restaurant. They try to always have games going worth watching. Sure they would throw your favorite on if you ask. Will definitely return.Maybe you should ask if they have a secret menu.Parking: This is in a busy shopping center. Lots of parking, but can get busy at the right times.Wheelchair accessibility: It's accessible”

“Great job by our waiters (I wanna say it was Shari and Linda?) at Tues Apr 9 around 10:30p. We had a big group and they did a great job bringing us great food. Loved it.”
“O.T. Genasis, Too $hort, Ying Yang Twins, 2Chains, Lil Jon, T-Pain and Flo Rider was off the hook in Norco can't wait to see what Fiesta De Toco brings in 2024 ???????”
“Omg love this Mc Donald's I was having a bad day one day didn't have nice words towards the staff instead of returning my rudeness the store manager gave me a free breakfast because my order got canceled and ask me too please respect his staff . I felt so ashamed but good at the same time . I would to apologize publicly for the my behavior and thank the hard working staff here . They are always fast nice and friendly”
“I honestly always loved the food there I think it's absolutely fantastic their jumbo shrimp tacos are to die for at least in my opinion especially two for $6. The only thing is the service is super slow and that's unfortunate especially when you're the only person in the restaurant or one of the only people the first person in the restaurant early in the morning. I haven't eaten there in the restaurant, but it doesn't seem anything special although there was a really nice guy that was continuously cleaning the parking lot and whatnot so at least he was being very diligent.”
“Hanuman Thai Eatery's Pad See Ew and Fried Rice are absolutely delicious! The flavors are spot on, and they're definitely my favorites. Don't miss out on trying them when you visit. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!”
“The food here is always amazing! Best Napolitano style pizza we've found outside of Napoli! The pastas and the gnocchi are amazing too. Wow! We crave it once a month minimum. The staff are so sweet and welcoming and always make us feel so welcome too!”

“Amazing service - baristas always offer great recommendations. They often have seasonal drinks on rotation so I typically get a different iced latte every time I'm here. Plenty of tables to sit down and work or read. Drinks never disappoint!”
“Simply Sweet Cakery was one of the wedding cake vendors through our wedding venue University Club by Wedgewood Weddings. Brooke and Christina were a delight to work with and so organized! To be completely honest, we actually did two different cake tastings because we were a little concerned with the cake texture during our first tasting and we wanted to try some additional flavors. We ended up choosing two cake flavors: lemon raspberry and red velvet. Let me tell you...I was completely blown away by the final product on our wedding day. The wedding cake was actually a priority for us, but let me tell you...it was delicious!! During our cake cutting, I stuck my fork in the cake for another bite because the initial bite was THAT GOOD. It wasn't overly sweet and the texture was spot on and so moist. So so happy that they were one of the preferred vendors of my venue!!”
“Warm and inviting entire time while grabbing my dose of caffeine for the day. I walked in 10 minutes to close (right before 3pm) and still received service. I'll have to give their bakery items a try next time I'm in that area.I ordered a 16oz iced cookie butter latte with whole milk and a sprinkle of brown sugar on top. 10/10This shop can be found near Triangle Square in a small center.”
“Organic juice & superfood smoothie bar!! Most places do not sell organic or fresh ingredients so no thank you. But this place is quality and everything I’ve tried taste amazing!! ? not many place like this in Orange County and they deliver :) thank you !”
“Rouladen and Brat on a Bun.The food at this place was absolutely fantastic! Every bite was a delight, very soft and tasty. And let's talk about the atmosphere - it truly transports you to Europe with its charming and cozy vibes. It's the kind of place where you can just relax and enjoy your meal without a care in the world lol”
“Got the Tokyo Mazeman regular everything (garlic, etc) and it was AMAZING. Glad they gave rice for the end because I wanted to soak up the leftover sauce and chives. Also, adding their house vinegar really makes the mazeman and cuts into the oils of the sauce - highly recommend. The regular Tokyo version has a small kick, so I also had their draft Asahi to make the experience just right.Vegetarian options: There's a separate section for vegetarian and vegan optionsParking: Parking is easy in the plaza”
“We absolutely love this place. Always have a great time, everyone seems like family, especially the 4 legged family members! Both Brian’s, Hector & the rest of the staff are super friendly and very welcoming. Food trucks are amazing, merchandise is great quality, beer is top notch! Something on tap for everyone. Our usual weekend hangout and it never disappoints.”
“A must visit! The milkshakes are to die for and the vibes are cute and cozy. A perfect date night or hangout with friends. They even have vegan ice cream substitutes, games, and serve beer and wine! We just moved to the area last year and passed by this place so many time, so glad we decided to stop in.Vegetarian options: Vegan substitutions available!”
“From the moment I stepped into Pom Olive in Costa Mesa, I knew I was in for a treat. This gem of a restaurant offers a culinary journey that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you craving for more.Let’s talk about the falafel first - crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, perfectly spiced, and served with just the right amount of tahini sauce. It’s evident that Pom Olive puts a lot of love and expertise into their falafel, making it a must-try for anyone visiting. The lentil soup is another masterpiece. Rich, comforting, and seasoned to perfection, it’s like a warm hug in a bowl. Whether you’re here on a chilly evening or just looking for a hearty start to your meal, this soup is an excellent choice. The roasted cauliflower deserves its own accolade. It’s roasted to a delightful crispiness while retaining a tender interior, and the spices used are spot on, enhancing the natural flavors of the cauliflower without overwhelming them. And then there’s the baklava - oh, the baklava! It’s simply the best I’ve had. Sweet, nutty, and layered with the most perfectly flaky pastry, it’s a sublime end to an already fantastic meal. Pom Olive truly excels in delivering this classic dessert with a balance of flavors that is hard to find elsewhere.I cannot conclude this review without mentioning Luke, our server for the evening. His recommendations were spot-on, and his attentive, friendly service greatly enhanced our dining experience. Luke’s passion for the restaurant’s offerings and his eagerness to share it with patrons make a visit to Pom Olive all the more special. In summary, Pom Olive in Costa Mesa is a culinary treasure. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly and attentive, and every dish I tried was a testament to the skill and passion behind the kitchen. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to give Pin Olive a visit. It’s an experience you won’t soon forget.Adding a personal touch about the staff, like mentioning Luke, can really round out a review and give others a sense of the service quality.”
“Cute Coffee Shop located in Costa Mesa off of Adams and Harbor Blvd Clean and plenty of room for sitting. I ordered the Honey Lavender iced latte as I had the same drink a few days before at Starbucks which rated like something crated in a lab (not a good thing) so I was still craving a decent lavender drink and saw The Caffeine Club offered it on their menu. The barista was nice and had my drink made in a short time. I was not disappointed as it was delicious and not overly sweet or flavored. It was exactly what I was looking for to satisfy that Lavender craving. Thank you Caffeine Club for a delicious drink.”
“First time here and Sebastian has been great! Explained all the ingredients in the list and worked with me to find something that matches my diet - much appreciative!”
“I've been going to Al's for 20+ years since I was a kid living in Huntington Beach. I make a point to stop by for pizza any time I am in town or passing by. Best Pizza I've had in California!Parking: There is a long parking lot and neighboring businesses with large parking lots.”
“We ordered the sloppy Zach and the beefy Zach. They take pride in making the sandwiches. Everything about the sandwiches was balanced between the flavor and just the right amount of spice. The sandwiches was not too greasy and brioche was pillow-y. The wait was worth it. Until next time.”
“Georgio took good care of us. He and his team works really hard. The food is unbelievably good. The service was totally exceptional. I certainly will come back when I am back in town.”

“Came here after a beach day and was craving a smoothie. It's hard to find places with quality smoothies that are not inside grocery stores or chains. This place has a ton of options and we tried the Aloha and Fiji one and both were insanely delicious. I preferred the Fiji one due to the coconut but the Aloha one was just as delicious. It's a small shop located in a plaza with plenty of parking. It's easy to get to and the service was fast. Ambiance was great and I will definitely be coming here again!”

“Spotted a pink coffee stand and we knew we had to stop by! We got the Mary matcha and the basic bitch vanilla latte. Their signature matcha latte came with house made lavender syrup and raw almond milk, highly recommend. The basic bitch is an iced vanilla latte with just the right amount of sweetness at half sweet. Definitely recommend this spot to try!”
“Friendly barkeeps, helped educate me on a couple things. Three outstanding brews: 1) Brett Ale. I would drink this every day. 2) Dry Hopped Brett. 3) BBA Imp. Stout is beyond great. 15.3%, so it’s efficient.”
“Eight in the car they were well staffed and as to fast food Burgers there's nothing better in my opinion then In and Out Burgers and it's much cheaper than any of the other fast food chains and they go out of their way to customize your burger the way you want it so certainly can't complain about this place if you want a quick bite to eat.Dietary restrictions: I can't eat lettuce anymore so they very kindly did not put lettuce on and I did ask for extra pickles and extra fried onions and they put that on there no questions asked and I was not charged anymore.Parking: Parking is usually provided at all In-N-Out Burgers to sit in the parking lot and eat or in some cases you can just go in and order inside and sit down and eat. The only problem with an In and Out Burger location is just how popular it is and how long the line is of cars and it's usually a double line of cars and sometimes will actually go for a block or more out onto the street they're so popular.Kid-friendliness: It's a fast food restaurant need I say anymore of course kids are welcome and it's friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: All the places I have been with In-N-Out Burgers have all had wheelchair accessibility.”
“Went on a Thursday night after the original place I wanted to dine at was closed and boy was I not disappointed!!Per the waiter’s recommendation, I ordered the bells cocktail and grain bowl. And i’m so glad I listened to their recommendations! The cocktail was unique and not overly sweet; perfectly balanced. The grains bowl was beautifully presented and the flavor was divine! The overall freshness and portion of each component was perfect. I go out to eat to enjoy meals that I wouldn’t or can’t make myself, and this was truly something I could not make any better in my own kitchen. I was skeptical of the quinoa at first because when I make it the flavor profile is soso, but here they really seasoned it well and it carried the delicious veggies it was topped with. I’m grateful for such a flavorful plant based / vegan dish at a reasonable price for the portion. The service was also awesome. I asked for something to add some spice to the meal and was presented with not 1, not 2, but 3 options! The Serranos and chili sauce were the perfect additions to an already flavorful dish.I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family, and will be back the next time i’m in Costa Mesa.Thank you for making quality drinks and even better food! Also bonus points that I was able to bring my puppy with me to dine on the patio!”
“This place has been around for a long time, and there's good reason why, when most fast food restaurants go out of business in a few years. I first ate here almost 20 years ago when I lived in the area. I left many years ago but whenever I am in the area, I still make it a point to go have their chicken burrito. It is that awesome. The burrito consists of just shredded chicken with sauce wrapped in tortilla. No rice, beans or anything else. That's what makes it so unique, and honestly, the best tasting burrito I've ever had. Highly recommended for Mexican food lovers.”
“Not a local but was recommended to go here. The menu is insane especially since they have a drive thru!!!! The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely give it a try!”
“We went here after a night at the beach. I had this before in SF but still wanted to check this one out. I got the combo platter with chicken and beef. I saw some complaints on here about the portions but I'ma a big dude and it was definitely enough for me. My wife got the sandwich and fries. Everything worked out. I would return if in the area.”
“Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a haven for chicken lovers! From the moment you step inside, the aroma of freshly fried chicken fills the air, tantalizing your taste buds. The menu is simple yet satisfying, featuring perfectly crispy chicken fingers served with a side of their signature Cane's sauce.”
“I have eaten at this El Pollo Loco for decades, and it has always been great. Wilson, Reyna, Silvia, Tina, Juan...they have an outstanding staff that cares about the customer experience. The bone-in chicken, the burritos, the special item (birria/carnitas/...), the tostadas, the salads, the sides, and the chicken tortillas soup are all consistently fresh, hot (well, not the salads), and delicious.”
“Great food at a great cost cheaper than other fast food chains, the amount of fried I received was insane. Had a full order dumped out in bag and my tray was still full. I will be back whenever I'm ”
“Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives include coconut, almond, oat, and soy. The caramel sauce/drizzle, as well as the mocha sauce and malt powder, contains dairy. Sweet cream is made with heavy cream, so the cold foams contain dairy. The lunch sandwiches contain cheese, but only the breakfast sandwiches can have it removed on request. Bakery items are vegetarian friendly, excluding the ham&swiss croissant.”
“We love this place! I cant speak for all locations but this one is definitely rocks. The employees are always kind and quick! Yanaida is so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!”

“The atmosphere was lively, and the service was attentive. The menu had a good variety of Mexican dishes, and I particularly enjoyed the burrito, which was flavorful .”
“Never went wrong with anything we order. The pasta al forno is the best. The mushrooms and polenta with goat cheese ? amazing. Great size location, great atmosphere, nice staff..and again always whatever you order is the bomb. ???”

Vaca
“I really enjoyed my first time at Vaca. The roasted cauliflower was incredible. I can't wait to have it again. The paellas are shareable. The restaurant gets really busy during happy hour. A lot of people stop by before walking over to Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Make sure to get there early or make a reservation.”
Cheap Eats
“One of the best staples of Costa Mesa in my opinion. I remember going here ever since a little girl, the quality & service has stayed the same. I went for lunch yesterday with my mother, and it was such a pleasant experience. Our waitress, although I did not get her name, had a great personality. I ordered the giant slice and salad and my mother got Lasagna. Delicious as always, and we had plenty to take home and have for lunch today. Long live Pizza d’oro!!Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian. There are all kinds of vegetarian options”
“Wow, small but powerful, very tasty and large portion. The falafel were very crispy and tender, very traditional flavor. The tahini and other sauces very well done. The chicken Shawarma bowl was huge, not traditional shaved Shawarma, but very good nonetheless. All in all, a very nice addition to the lab, and a worthwhile place to stop for Mediterranean type food.”
“Good food here made to order. Service is good with a nice pleasant attitude. Presentation of the food was good and well balanced. Order the Katsu Teri combo. Preces are fair. Have to return to try other dishes on the menu.”
“The food here is absolutely delicious! I had the house special shrimp and it was delightful. The breading was perfect, shrimp tasted fresh and the sauce was really good. My grandpa had the orange chicken and he really enjoyed it, I had a piece as well and it was fresh and crisp. My wife had the Beef Pho and it was soooo tasty. Definitely some of the best pho we have had. The owner of the location helped us pick wjat yo get, and was very helpful from start to finish. It is a family owned restaurant so totally get some TLC. The ambience us great, pretty spacious with very cool fish tanks as well. If you are in the area, I suggest you give this spot a try, you won't regret it.”
“Cute spot. Parking is limited. We got there around 5pm on a Friday. Luckily a few spots to park in the front. We ordered the fish taco and the two taco combo with rice and beans. We really liked the seasoning on all. Al pastor with cactus( nopales) was great. Carne asada taco also had a great flavor. Fish taco was nice and balanced with the cream sauce. Love their handmade tortillas. We will definitely return.”
“I had an almond milk latte and I think it was the almond milk that they use that threw me off. This is a good quality coffee, just not the best latte I’ve had. My friend had the cold brew and said it was really good. The service was amazing, the employees were super nice and helpful. The atmosphere was really cute, but it’s small. There is a ton of outdoor seating and it made the perfect co-working space. I definitely hope to be back! For more reviews follow me here on google or on instagram @audrey.pulliam”
“The Owner was very helpful! As it was my first time at the restaurant. The food was very delicious and was with my "perfect level" of hotness!! Thanks to him and his great staff!”
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Moongoat Coffee, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that truly made me feel welcome. The star of the show, of course, was the coffee. I ordered both the Coffee Latte and the Churro Latte, and they were nothing short of exceptional. The Coffee Latte had a rich and smooth flavor, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of espresso and steamed milk. It was a comforting and invigorating start to my day. Now, let's talk about the Churro Latte. Oh, my taste buds were in heaven! The combination of the aromatic coffee and the delectable hints of cinnamon and caramel made for a truly unique and indulgent experience. It felt like sipping on a churro in liquid form! I couldn't get enough of it.Beyond the incredible beverages, the atmosphere at Moongoat Coffee was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating arrangements and a pleasant ambiance. It was the perfect spot to relax, catch up with a friend, or simply enjoy some quality "me" time. What truly sets Moongoat Coffee apart, though, is the exceptional service provided by the staff. The baristas were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They took the time to explain the menu, answer all my questions, and even offered recommendations based on my preferences. Their attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for their work made the entire experience that much more enjoyable.I highly recommend paying a visit to Moongoat Coffee. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or simply looking for a cozy spot to unwind, this place has it all. With their outstanding service, delicious coffee options like the Coffee Latte and Churro Latte, and inviting ambiance, Moongoat Coffee is a hidden gem that deserves all the recognition. I can't wait to return for another exceptional cup of coffee!”
“The place is very cute and has friendly service. Food was delicious and the baked goods here look incredible.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsParking: Easy parking in back with 4 spots including an accessible parking spot”
“just a passing visitor, I found this coffee shop within walking distance of where I was staying. based on the menu and pricing looked like a good place to get a cup of coffee for a decent price. I arrived in the atmosphere, was very welcoming, and a perfect spot to work remotely. I ordered a 8 ounce cup of black coffee. Their drip coffee is medium roast but one of the blends is lighter than the other and I enjoyed that. I also ordered a eggs Florentine burrito and switched out the spinach for potatoes. Salsa was excellent with the burrito, they offer free Wi-Fi and have outlets to charge your laptop along the walls if you are able to snag a spot. I worked and stayed at Hola Adios, for about 2 1/2 hours and left before they closed. The staff was very welcoming and nice and even gave me a free refill of my coffee before I left, I think that was because they were closing soon. highly recommend this coffee shop for coffee at a great price or alternatively, a nice spot to work remotely from. They have great music and a great staff. I wish bathroom door wasn’t fog glass, but a very nice aesthetic and atmosphere. highly recommend hole in the wall.”
“Stopped by this beautiful sweet place! They sell all kinds of delicious cheesecakes!!We had ube cheesecake and it was very delicious!! ?I can try it out again when I visit there!! :)Sweetness is perfect ?Come and enjoy your subtle sweetness!Cheers ?”
“Best vegan burritos and tacos I’ve had by far. The staff is great as well. I recommend the Cali burrito and the chile rellenos (when they have it). I hope to see this place stick around for years to come.Vegetarian options: Menu is entirely vegan.Kid-friendliness: Casual dining setting with a decently sized outdoor patio easily accommodates kids.”
“Been coming here 8 plus years always great service and good food. Also really cozy inside makes you feel like home and the food is priced fairly. This place is special and I will continue to come when I can !!”
“The best poke bowl! Great place with nice tables to eat on site, the bowls are plentiful, the service is fast, efficient and attentive. Beautiful decoration, good atmosphere, without hesitation one of my favorite addresses.”
“Love this place ! The service was amazing and the food , mamma Mia soooo good , authentic Lebanese food , the environment inside the dinning room is so romantic and calm , really well designed, they have heaters everywhere so you never will be cold here , see you soon guys and thx for this nice Lebanese ”
“The Veggie Grill Cold Noodle inspired me to write this review... One of the best things I've ever eaten in my life! Delicious sauce, and unique - much better than expected and an instant fave ??I really appreciated being able to get such wonderful food at 2:45 a.m. for takeout! Will repeat.”

“Ordered pastas, pizzas, and a Caesar Salad. Everything was great with one exception. They put Panko crumbs on the salad (versus croutons) that made the Romaine gritty like it was unwashed. I'll order again, but will request no Panko next time.”

Memphis Cafe
“Ordered the two specials they have on that day. The first dish which is biscuits with gravy was amazing. You can choose your choice of protein (bacon, sausage, or chorizo) and we went with sausage. First of all, the biscuits were flaky, crumbly, and moist; topped with creamy gravy that had cubed bacon in it. I’m hoping that they will add their biscuits to their permanent menu. The second special dish is similar to one of their regular menu, the only diff is the protein that comes with it. This special comes with chorizo; meanwhile, the regular southern eggs benedict comes with grilled corned beef. The combination of chorizo, brioche, crispy potato cakes, poached eggs, and chipotle hollandaise was fabulous.”
“I don't know why there isn't a long line out in front of this restaurant every night. It is a small restaurant in a location that is slightly off the restaurant beaten path. But it is Onotria, the same owner and chef as the previous iteration of Onotria that has been one of the most highly regarded restaurants in Orange County - and definitely on of the best Italian restaurants in the county for many years. The original Onotria took a hiatus for a few years but is back now in its new location with excellent food - perhaps now a little more innovative and modern. The service also excellent with a little more warmth and attentiveness thrown in, perhaps a consequence of the small venue. There were four of us, we all sampled each other's food and all agreed that it was outstanding as was the service. It's great to have Onotria back. It's definitely one of the "must try " Italian restaurants in The OC.”

Plums Cafe
“Plums is the place we go when we're dying for a great breakfast or brunch!! The bacon! The Dutch Baby!! The Benedicts!! The Pancakes!! You will never be disappointed with this amazing spot.”
“First time visiting this indoor eatery food court. Interesting interior design with open-space sitting area in the middle of the court and several Japanese eateries dotted the outside circle. I ate at Gyutan Tsukasa and it had a line, but moved quickly. The grilled beef tongue does not disappoint. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Thai Perfection: Panang Curry with Hanger ⭐️Hanuman Thai Eatery has become our favorite Thai spot, thanks to their divine Panang Curry with Hanger Steak. Despite the bustling atmosphere and sometimes lengthy wait times of 45 to 90 minutes, this dish makes every minute worth it.The curry sauce is an explosion of flavor, perfectly paired with tender hanger steak cooked to medium rare perfection. Each bite leaves us craving more, making it a weekly indulgence we simply can't resist.Appetizers: green papaya salad, ceviche, chicken satay and soup is very good as well.if you're willing to endure a wait for a taste of culinary heaven, the Panang Curry with Hanger Steak at Hanuman Thai Eatery is an absolute must-try.”
“Incredibly fresh fish with generous portions. The classic roles are perfect but even better than those are there unique roles. They balance the flavors really well while also have a nice texture, which is hard to do with sushi!Highly recommend for date night. Also, service was very incredibly good and really fast!!”

SkyBay Sushi
“This is my family's favorite restaurant. Most of all, the sushi is very fresh, the plating is cool and neat, and the staff is friendly. I have no inconvenience taking my child with me. The rolls I always eat are always fresh, and the yellowtail collar is very delicious. Thank you for letting me have a fun time with my family while eating here. I plan to visit again soon.”
“There is no sign on the outside and you have to go in the parking area to see the shop. I have been buying Wilson coffee from Fermentation Farm and I have always thought it's just coffee beans and tea packages and not over the counter coffee. Well now I was happy to see they have over the counter coffee. I was asking Matt how long has the counter been open and he said 12 years. And I was shocked as I always thought it's only a coffee roaster place. He said this is the normal reaction of folks coming in and ordering coffee. I know Wilson coffee is passionate about coffee roasting and having a cup of coffee feels like as fresh as I can get. You know where the beans are being roasted. The cool thing about this place is it's simplicity and attention to the coffee bean. No frills, just the best coffee bean in the neighborhood.”

Fruitthies
“I used to go here all the time when I lived in Costa Mesa and I still think about their almond blend smoothie ? Their staff is kind and their drinks are consistently delicious and filling!Vegetarian options: You can substitute whey protein for plant based and they have non-dairy milk as well!”
“Great spot! We celebrated a birthday here and it was a blast. Some people wanted to do all you can eat, and some people didn’t and they let us do both. The drinks, the sushi, the service…everything was awesome! Every roll was fresh and delicious.”

Three-13 Bar
“I stumbled upon Three-13 Bar quite serendipitously, post-haircut, and what a delightful discovery it was! Nestled off West 19th Street, this gem is part of a vibrant row dedicated to nightlife and entertainment. Upon entering, I was greeted by the comfortable buzz of a busy bar, not overwhelming but just lively enough. Shannon, the owner, was manning the bar and her welcoming presence added to the overall good vibes. The place is well-laid out with large wall booths and high tables, perfect for groups or solo visitors like me. A key feature for any sports enthusiast is the multiple TVs showcasing various sports, ensuring you don't miss out on any action. Moreover, the music set the tone - all thanks to an on-demand jukebox that lets patrons be the DJ. An unexpected highlight of my visit was crossing paths with a group celebrating a birthday. Their infectious joy and camaraderie were contagious, and they kindly brought me into their fold, turning a solo drink into a mini-celebration. I ventured in during the mid-afternoon, so the nighttime vibe remains a mystery. However, based on this experience, I'm eager to return with friends and uncover what Three-13 Bar has to offer as the night unfolds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back spot with great energy and a sense of community. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Three-13 is definitely worth a visit!”
“Great service and quality food. The sashimi was beyond good ?. I recommend the salmon and tuna sashimi. The udon was pretty good, too. For appetizer, I recommend the calamari. Parking is tricky, though. Overall, 5 stars.”

Takumi Sushi
“Very nice atmosphere, great menu with original items and large selection, friendly service, amazing sushi, and super fresh veggies for the tempura - great prices too, will repeat! ?Vegetarian options: Veggie tempura was super fresh, enjoyed very much, will order again.”
“Shabu Shabu is our special date night meal. We like to seak it out wherever we travel to. We really enjoyed our meal here, portions (ordered large meat) were good and ingredients were fresh. This is the first Shabu Shabu I have visited that did not have bok choy and that's my favorite veggie I was disappointed. But they have all the other ingredients, excellent broths and variety of sauces, even egg for dipping. We ate here on a busy Saturday night, it felt like a cafeteria with how the business is run, very efficient but no ambiance for the cost of the meal.”
“Was visiting the area from Chicago and came for a private event for Good Service Podcast. Great vibes. Great food. Great service! I highly recommend especially if you’re looking for food while wanting to shop.”
“A true Tonkatsu shop in the OC! They even have choices for various cuts of pork to include fattiness. Served fresh on a rack just like in Tokyo. A hidden gem!”

Knife Pleat
“Vegetarian options: The Cali Caprese is the best vegetarian sandwich option, in my opinion.Parking: Parking can be tight at the busy times of the day due to multiple businesses and restaurants.”
“We took my father here while he was visiting. We listened to the waiter’s suggestions and had an absolutely delicious meal. This has become a regular stop anytime I’m in the area.”
“This restaurant had me hooked at fresh wasabi! In my experience only high end or serious sushi restaurants serve fresh wasabi. I have ordered here via Uber Eats at least 4 times in 3 weeks. The spicy tuna on crispy rice is addictive. Also ordered the 12 pc sashimi and it was fresh and delicious. Will try to eat live at restaurant. Highly recommended.”

Sushi Imari
“What a gem! Had to go to Costa Mesa for a work conference and discovered this place (thanks to other reviews), and it did not disappoint from service to the food!!!We started with some nigiri pieces. The rice and the fish were prepared with care. The aburi salmon belly just melted in our mouths. A table next to us, who seemed to be loyal & frequent customers ordered 50 pieces! Then we proceeded to bento lunches (such great value) and ate until our hearts content. Great combos from teriyaki, udon, karage (perfectly fried juicy pieces of chicken) and donkatsu to sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi combos as well.Everyone from the chefs, service members and other customers were happy and laughing during our meals. This was a tough meal to beat since every other business lunch and dinner afterwards seemed to pale in comparison. Our friends went back before their flights instead of free lunches provided by the convention.Vegetarian options: There are salads, veggie rolls and non-meat noodle dishes, although ask about the broth if they use fish sauce or flakes.Parking: It is at the end of a open strip mall so plenty of parking usually.”

“The cheese selection is always great. I tried the smoked Gouda and honey grilled cheese with prosciutto, it was amazing!!! The cheese and mustard dipping sauce was to die for. The best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. I hope they keep this on the menu.”

K's Bistro
“I eat sushi at least twice a week if not more. I've been to the most expensive spots, hole in the wall spots, and everything in between. This place is my new favorite sushi spot in OC! The omakase was one of the best I've ever had, we got so lucky that the owner was there and cooked for us! The fish was so fresh and the service was great too. It's a small restaurant so they are very attentive. The only thing to know is that the parking lot is small and fills up quickly, so get there early to find parking or Uber/lyft!”
“Other than the weird early 2000s pop music, it was a very nice experience. The meat and veggies were fresh and delicious. The broths were flavorful and well spiced. Unfortunately, I finished everything so fast that I didn't have a chance to take a photo of the well prepared food. Perfect place to take your friends, loved ones, and significant other! Very very nice Japanese hot pot!Vegetarian options: Made to order”
“The food here was so tasty and good. I can't eat chicken so I can't comment on most of the skewers, but the tongue was very good. . My friend and I also shared one of their pots. I think it was beef, similar to Chinese clay pot but ingredients seemed more premium- fresh, light, and delicious than typical Chinese clay pot. My friend called to make a reservation, as space is limited. I'm told that once they reach the limit, no more seating for that evening. No walk-ins, at least not when we were there on a weekend. Looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the menu.”
“An amazing local bar. Was here both Friday and Saturday night. The Security does their job while still maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for the customers. I have traveled all over the world and honestly The bartenders here are the most professional and friendly I have ever seen. Drinks were great. The crowd was very friendly and welcoming. I had a great time here. I give them a 10 out of 10.”

“Excellent sushi. Rice is cooked perfectly and fish is portioned appropriately with rice. Miso soup not the best, was more Salty than miso flavour but it was a good experience.”

Delicatessen
“Sushi offering was spectacular. There's an area where you could eat your purchased food so it's a nice place for lunch or dinner. Supermarket wasn't super big but you could get all your essentials. I really liked the Japanese snacks and candies.”
“Love this restaurant! ? Amazing food, especially the bread & Butter and their pizzas are amazing! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Be prepared to wait for a table but totally worth the wait. We come here often with friends & colleagues and it’s always a great experience.”
“The wife and I tried Hole Smokes last night. We tried a couple apps and the Tray 4 Two so that we could get a few different meats to try. The fried pickles were really good with both the chipotle sauce and with ranch. I liked the chipotle better. The honey glazed burnt ends were ok- very tender and juicy, but lacked a bit of flavor. For the meats we had a sausage link, brisket and tritip. The link was good- wife really liked it a lot. The brisket was maybe the best we've had- very tender, juicy and some good flavor. The tritip was very good and had a beautiful smoke ring. For the sides, we tried the cornbread cake, brussel sprouts, and French fries. Was surprise that the cornbread was cold. We liked the flavor, and my wife liked the cinnamon butter (i preferred no butter, but I'm not as big a cinnamon fan as my wife). The sprouts were great and loved the glaze that was on them. The fries were really good as well. Looking forward to bringing the kids back and trying a few more things. Service was great and on top of things for refills, sauce, etc.”

“i took my younger brother to this place when he went to college at UC Irvine, and whenever i muster the balls to spend the money, i'll take the drive to visit this great place (the bill between two people is often 200 dollars, food + drinks), although, we're big eaters, and if you're conservative, i imagine you can keep the bill under a 100 bucks between two.it's awesome. just amazing. the quality of their beef and the willingness of the staff to bend over backwards for you is just incredible.”
“The food was the best, a bit pricey, but worth it. We were not sure if we ordered enough, we were still hungry and added more, other tables were doing the same. Had to scan the menu on or phones. We went there after 9 pm, and had to wait for a table. I would suggest making a reservation. I will be back to dine again!”
“Came to open mic. Had a blast! The food was excellent, and the service right on time. They were super attentive. Had a great time, and the vibe was super fun and energetic. And all of the performers were really, really good. I'll be coming back for sure!”
“I applaud Linda for standing up for herself in the recent post. The review that was based solely on an almost 5 year Restaurant Impossible episode should not be a basis to rate an establishment!!! I'm sure my review will be removed. Hopefully Google will also remove that review as well!! Best of luck Linda and enjoy your time with family, you deserve it!!!”

“This place a hole in a wall guys, lemme put you on seriously from the ambiance to the drinks. The most special is the owner, Goto-san, is super cute and he appeased to my wants and needs. Very friendly spot and fancy club-like vibe WITH karaoke. I must recommend to stop by for a chil drink/ night cap!!”
“Cozy place, great food, small businessCame here with some of my friends for a late night dinner, the place was a little busy from a large group, but they got us seated in 15 minutes! The staff was very kind and all of them said hello when we walked in, they also consistently refilled our waters which was perfect. Food was great, all the rolls were delicious and the portions were perfect for the money. We got 5 rolls for the 4 of us and a miso soup each and were perfectly satisfied by the nights end. Highly recommend to stop by and support them, super authentic!”

“We have come here several times to have drinks and appetizers at the bar. Quick and friendly service, happy hour is M-F from 3pm to 5pm with signature cocktails being $10. Loved their king pao brussel sprouts with a not too spicy drizzle and peanuts. The calamari is so crispy and crunchy with a ton of diced peppers, jalapeños and pepperocinis. Comes with a great dipping sauce. Had the Amelia drink with vodka, super refreshing.”

“Jeremiah was an excellent server he was VERY patient And has amazing customer service , also was on point with all the refills and checking up on us while multitasking with other guest . Seen him breaking a sweat making sure his guest was happy and had every need met ! He’s amazing definitely deserves some recognition for his amazing work ethic !”
“Went yesterday for an early dinner before we saw the Michael Jackson musical. My cousin was running late so my Aunt and I started and had the best experience! Elizabeth and the manager on duty were so accommodating, helpful and lovely for our special evening. The food was delish! Thank you and can't wait to return!”

Eat Chow
“Lovely little place to eat. Service can be really good and really bad depending on the staff.Parking: The parking can be good or bad, just depends on the surrounding businesses. This location is on a small street.Kid-friendliness: Kids could eat here, but I wouldn't recommend it.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking situation makes accessibility a little difficult.”
“We often go pair Tabu Shabu with a wine tasting at Hi-Times, especially because we have someone with Celiac disease in our party and they are very aware of gluten allergies and are able to accomodate accordingly. The service is wonderful; the staff and always friendly and attentive.I also appreciate the cleanliness of their bathroom! The wait isn't too bad if you go at the right times. The only wish I have would be that the meat portions be a bit bigger.”
“Delicious big manly portions. Dametoon garm. I was told about this place some 10 years ago, but never had a chance to try it out. Don't expect a big fancy place, it's rather small, (I think they do a lot of catering services), but the food was delicious. I got a soltani and my friend got Baghali polo with lamb shack. We also had some kashke-Bademjon and roshi. The food was juicy delicious. Service is fast and friendly. For non persians: Darbari means "it's from the Royal Court". Implicitly meaning the King's type of cuisine. The restaurant carries well the name. Go Darbari!”
“I was invited to this place, I’m not a fan of sushi, but I can’t deny that I enjoyed the food there. The atmosphere is nice, the service is good, some of the servers were not friendly, but our server was nice and friendly. Go visit the place if you want a good bite of sushi.”
“Food was delicious, reasonably priced post plandemic, date night with wifey was less than $50 my only complaint was the parking situation but other than that everything was ”

Westend
“Honestly this is a spot that has been timeless in West Costa Mesa especially for those of us who live on the best side of CM! They just reopened last year and were terribly missed post Covid.Excited to hear that the menu is going to be remixed very soon as they already have some solid plates that never disappoint. From a Po’Boy that reminds you of Nawlins’, to an unchopped salad that really hits the spot during artists hour, you cannot go wrong dropping in for especially a drink. The mixology in this place is insane with old school drinks to new school libations made with your favorite booze. The music is usually beyond on point and is a good break from some of the pretentious spots around it (menos Garabaldi…si sabes tu sabes jaja).I always drop in to host friends or fam from out of town as I wish I could be here every week! Do yourself a favor and keep it real when on the West Side and hit up West End!”
“Really nice place. They took extra steps to make the experience very special for us newcomers. Drinks were good but a little too sweet for me. I'd prob ask for half sweet next time but presentation, decorations, vibe, and services are awesome!”
“Oh my godddd Brian, Jay, and the whole Yanagi Team are the masters of the sushi game! These handrolls are fireeee! California hand roll and the spicy soft crab handroll amazing!”
“Great experience tonight. We had a bigger group with a bunch of kids, and they were very accommodating and patient. Food was great, as was the service.I’m not much of a sushi guy myself so I got the sesame chicken with rice and gyoza, and both were fantastic. My family all said the rolls they ordered were amazing, and they all loved them.Parking was easy with plenty of open spots.”

Ango Tei
“Fish, soups, and service were good. Agadashi tofu was great. The biggest downside was that they didn't offer a sashimi combo platter. If that's not what you're looking for, then I highly recommend.”
“The food was very good, but the service from Cassidy was absolutely astronomical. I have never been to a restaurant and experienced such good service. Thank you Cassidy for such a great time.”

“Love this place. Often eat here when I work in Costa Mesa. It's quaint, the crew there are super friendly, and they remember your name. I like that. The food is delicious and plentiful. I always have leftovers. Would highly recommend!!”
“I sat in the booth area with a girlfriend near the bar and was served by Beto. He was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and bar. If you have the chance, request beto!!!”

Kappo Sui
“You HAVE to eat here!! … I’ll make this review short, but I was beyond impressed and so delighted to have found this hidden gem. Not only is the food incredible, but the fish is some of the freshest and most flavorful I’ve ever tasted. The wait staff is also simply fantasticMy business partner and I asked chef if we could order omakase , he joyfully obliged - and it was the BEST sushi assortment I’ve ever had. I’ve paid over $200 per person for omakase on special occasion in San Francisco, crafted by a world renowned sushi chef … etc. This small humble family owned restaurant in Costa Mesa, gave me such a sense of satisfaction and connection to the food that I have not felt in a long time. And for that, I thank you ALL at Kappo Sui!See you soon”

“Delightful Vegan menu; cocktail is powerful & deliciously pretty. Ryan provided pleasant & thoughtful services. This is a great reprieve after focus museum arts viewing.”
“Italian cuisine is solid, elevated with creative touches. I love the convenience and location. I’ve been here three times over the years and have yet to be disappointed!”
“Food quality went down severely. This might be the last time I am here. Service is still great. 02/19/22I came back after an year. The quality is better.I did not know what happened an year ago but I am glad.”
“Karl Strauss is 5 stars I don’t care who you are! 3 of us had dinner and drinks. Blackened Tuna tacos are big and tasty. The pub burger was a good burger. The food truck burger also good. Mac and cheese a treat. However the boneless sweet Chile garlic wing stole the show. For drinks we had the Poseidon stout - awesome smooth stout!”
“This place is a hidden gem! Always consistently delicious and service is great too! My husband is the one that introduced me here and it's been our go to sushi date spot since! We love sitting at the bar and even came here with our friends - their first time and now they love it too! Their menu has a variety of options...we love the red dragon roll and sexy mango! If you love sushi and great service, this is the place!”

Water Grill
“THE BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT I'VE BEEN TO. And yes I'm yelling. I want to make sure you hear it. Go here, NOW. Excellent space for a date, business, family...anything. The staff is amazing. For example, Swordfish is very difficult to get right, especially if you're a chef like me. I made a small comment about how swordfish can be overcooked very easily. The waiter was very confident, and said, "not here". Challenge accepted. Apparently he spread the word, and the person delivered the dish and said, "here is your perfectly cooked swordfish". Sure enough, it was perfect. Everything was amazing. Not a single complaint. I would eat here everyday.”
“Great food. Would recommend the crispy carnitas skillet. The kids meals came and they were very large. Environment was very clean. Very large menu for both food and drinks.”
“My first time at this restaurant and it won't be my last. The noon time buffet was very good and reasonably priced. I had birria for the first time and loved it. The restaurant is roomy, large outdoor patio and service was excellent.”
“Fish is high quality, and sushi is really good traditional Japanese style from Glenn training in Japan. My dad has been coming to eat with Glenn for 12 years now, and it’s still his favorite spot in all of OC.Recommend the chirashi and futomaki. Thanks Glenn!”
“I love this shop and I love working here! The management is great and the costumers are super sweet! The shakes taste amazing and i love all the nutritional items the shop has to offer”
“First off, this restaurant serves kaiseki, their omakase is not sushi. Kaiseki focuses on the flow and art of Japanese cuisine, don't come here thinking you'll have uni, toro, crab handroll, etc.. it looks like some of their courses have sashimi but I didn't try the omakase since I don't really enjoy kaiseki. I tried a few and just didn't like any of them, it's too much art for me.We came for the a5 wagyu sandwich and it did not disappoint. The wagyu was deep fried to perfect and just melts as you bit into it with a bit of crisp ones from the toast and breading. Definitely try this.We also ordered the pork katsu and it was a very pleasant surprise. It was super juicy and tender and had a light crispy coating. It's better katsu than the katsu specialty restaurant next door.We also got the crab and ikura clay pot rice. It was good.We ordered a few appetizers and sashimi that didn't really stand out to us.The maple ice cream was also another pleasant surprise. Really good. We've already came back for the wagyu sandwich and pork katsu, they were both as good as our first visit.Decent parking lot, there's more spots in the back.”
“Our first time at Leatherby's before Lion King. We thought enjoyed dinner. I had the apple goat cheese salad for my started, unusual & very tasty. For my entree I had branzino, delicious. My friend had the Bay Scallops which she loved. She also had the key lime tart for dessert. The service was excellent & the environment is nicely attired. We will return.”

“Love Mastro's. Have been going to this location for many years. It's a much quieter location than the Ocean Club in NPB, but still the same great quality. Only critique is that they tend to not scale well during busy nights like Valentine's Day and Mother's Day - would recommend considering another choice on those days. Otherwise, you'll get great service and food here!”
“We haven't been to claim jumper in a really long time but we decided to try it again tonight. Our server Nichole she was AMAZING!! Her recommendations for food were right on and the carrot cake was an excellent way to end our experience. We will be back and asking for Nichole.”
“You need to reserve before you go. Very Important. Luckily someone canceled for us and we got the table. But if u don't mind the bar area, happily welcome to find a chair..Beautiful restaurant and awesome vibes.. their Chilean seabass was so good. Awesome entrees. They don't have good options for desserts. Only a few like flan, fried ice cream, churros and tres leches. Good options for beverages.”
“I know three employees there that have been always nice to me, and have helped me out with my orders.Isabella, Jorge and Adriana are my top favorites. I do Uber East and they always help me with my orders. I have also eaten in that restaurant few times and they have good food. I definitely recommend this place.”
“I tried a Spicy Black Garlic Ramen and Edamame(with Garlic oil). Both of them were awesome. I chose the Tonkotsu soup base(spicy level 2) and it was very unqiue and delicious. Strongly recommended.”
“Great job by our waiters (I wanna say it was Shari and Linda?) at Tues Apr 9 around 10:30p. We had a big group and they did a great job bringing us great food. Loved it.”
“Located on the 3rd level of the Crate & Barrel wing in South Coast Plaza, Terrace by Mix Mix is an experience all on its own. The atmosphere caters to both classy and casual, the food exudes refinement and familiarity with strong Filipino, Italian and French influences. Service can be a bit touch and go, depending on how busy the restaurant is. Reservations are suggested as the indoor capacity is small. The terrace outside is modern and welcoming but can be rented out for events, so keep that in mind if you have your heart set on dining outdoors. The portions are nice, and the prefix menu is surprisingly generous. The bone marrow pizza is not to be missed.”
“Good food! Had a spam musubi, poke nachos, and some hand rolls. It was surprisingly filling. I thought 2 hand rolls wouldn't be enough but it definitely was! Spam musubi is a must though.”
“First off don't let these reviews fool you! I hadn't been here since 1987 for my prom. Wanted to treat my boyfriend for his bday. Sure there's feelings, Morton's etc. But those are chains. The Service was impeccable. Le Cave is known for their martini's I'm advised. Now I know why, Cosmo was perfect When you order they take your order & proceed to bring the cart around so you know exactly what your ordering. Portions are big! And well under what Morton's would charge. I ordered the filet, my boyfriend ribeye w/half lobster tail. Which looked almost like a whole one. They don't rush you even as the crowds roll in. It's a very quaint restaurant and is the same as it opened in 1962 on Valentine's Day. My boyfriend was given the fluffiest cheese cake for his bday! I love it here! May go back to chill at the bar soon...”
“Never disappointed by this phoholic location! I've tried the Stanton location twice and never thought it was that great but I've also tried this location at south coast twice and loved it both times! Not sure what's different between the two but glad I didn't give up on it! The service is great here, very fast to take our order which I like because we know what we want to order at this point (phở tái). The broth is full bodied and the meat is tender. If you come with a group of two you'll probably be seated at the bar which is really nice and intimate and has buttons to call the staff in case you need them. If you come with a bigger group you'll be led to the tables in the back which is more comfortable to socialize with friends or family. If you sit at the bar you'll pay at the counter where you checked in.”

“Wow, what a find this place was! Tucked away hiding in a supermarket and unassuming, dining here felt like stumbling upon a hidden gem. I decided to put their menu to the test by comparing the asada and chicken tacos, and boy, did they deliver. Each bite was packed with flavor, bringing back fond memories of my go-to taco truck in LA, minus the long drive. That alone had me sold, but I couldn’t resist going for the asada burrito next, loaded up with everything, including that perfectly melty Jack cheese.Seriously, if you’re on the fence about trying this place, just go for it. The food is downright delicious, and it’s got that authentic vibe you’d be hard-pressed to find just anywhere. And the cherry on top? A mariachi band playing in the background on a Friday night. It felt like a mini-vacation, a little escape filled with great tunes and even better food.I’m definitely coming back, and soon. This spot is the real deal for anyone craving that perfect blend of mouthwatering food and a chill, festive atmosphere. Don’t just take my word for it—try it out and let the flavors speak for themselves!”
“Great service experience. You just have to place the order online and from the kiosk and your freshly made food will be in your hands soon. I recommend trying salmon bento box. Portion size was sufficient and food was good and great for lunch.”
“SOOOOO underrated hidden gem! More flavorful than Meizhou Donpo but 2/3 the prices and generous portions. I highly recommend the braised string beans, mapo tofu, and roast fish. But pretty sure anything else here is equally delicious.”
