We had a great dinner at Mariposa! We were greeted by 3 friendly faces before being seated. Water came to us before our waitress, and all the food was perfectly flavored and cooked! I wish we lived closer so we could come back more frequently!!

Found this place by luck on a business trip last year and was in love - made sure to come back as soon as I was back in town and will continue to do so in the future! Authentic, fresh, and amazing food that comes out quick, the best spicy/smoky margarita I've ever had, and friendly service from all. Definitely a must-try when in Danbury!

The womens who wasn’t even serving us, came up and stated we either had to order more foods or wait until we order more drinks!! We felt completely discriminated! Freaking awful, man. If you want gentrified mexican food come here. This establishment is using Latino and Mexican culture for aesthetics and making a mockery of our people. I ordered the Fish Tacos. I received NO LIE two tacos with 1 inch of over battered fish alone in a cold tortilla from a fridge. I see in these reviews multiple pieces of fish in these tacos, and wondered what made my meal different. I feel extremely disrespected and unwelcomed; I know this business will not prosper with these colonizer practices.

Absolutely love this place! Loved it as a customer that has frequented a lot with friends, but love it even more after having my birthday dinner there a few weeks ago. The event planner was SUPER helpful and sweet, very accommodating to what I wanted and what some of my guests needed. The birthday was a hit, everyone loved the food and drinks, very happy I chose to do it here!

Loved this place! Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Offered the special and took into consideration of my shrimp allergy. The bartender entertained my baby when she was upset by showing her how he shakes the margaritas. I had rice and beans and a chicken empanada, also plantains and tostones. All very yummy 😋 I will return to have some drinks at the bar and some more yummy options. Thank you for having us.
