Definitely a cool little spot. The Cos Cob Dog I had was great. The guys next to me had a gyro and the other had a cheese steak both looked delicious. Looking forward to going back and trying something else.

Great little restaurant in Cos Cob Connecticut. Food was reasonably priced. Made fresh. Served fast at a quaint counter with swivel chairs.Restaurant is off exit 5 route 95.Breakfast menu looked good too.White Christmas lights along the rooftop drew us to the restaurant. Owner was considering leaving them on all year.Parking: Parking was adjacent to the restaurantKid-friendliness: While there a father had his 7ish year old daughter there who was enjoying her meal.

I'm in the area for work this week. I used the handy Yelp to find breakfast in the area. I found Joey B's. It's an old school diner feel with counter seating only. I went with huevos rancheros with a side of bacon. While it was good, I wouldn't consider it huevos rancheros as it didn't have any refried beans and instead of a tortilla it was served with an English muffin. Flavors were good though. I also got a side of bacon. Typically a side of bacon is more than just two slices of bacon. For almost $5 I'd expect a little more. My meal also wasn't consistently hot. Some of the potatoes were hot and some were room temperature at best. For my meal and coffee, it came to about $25 before tip. I feel that's a little too high, but it is what it is. The flavors are definitely there though. Service was friendly.

Great philly cheesteaks and one of the best places in town to sit at the counter and have a chat with strangers. Awesome fries as well.

We were looking for a casual, friendly place to have brunch or a late weekend breakfast. All of the local diners were packed & have become a bit commercial. We didn't want a chain restaurant, we wanted a mom & pop establishment with nice, home cooked food. After driving around for almost an hour, we came upon Joey B's while driving down the Post Rd. into Cos Cob. Intrigued, we went in, had a great meal and nice conversation with the friendly staff & customers. Seating is outdoors or at the counter & space is limited. The menu is perfect, with plenty of healthy cuisine, something for everyone and affordable. Joey B's an absolute jewel, like the little diners I remember growing up.

Tasty food moderately priced. I'd go back. Several locals mentioned it was good after I ate there.

My family's favorite diner. The kids love the pancakes and french toast. My husband's favorite is the huervos rancheros. A classic for my family, would recommend Joey B's to anyone!

Came to try the Friday Fish Fry. Although they ran out of the clam strips I wanted they subbed it in the Sampler. Pleasantly surpised by the hefty pieces of cod and shrimp. Cod was perfectly moist.
