Very busy but relatively quiet even though we were next to a large party. Service was excellent. Ambiance was very good. Food (penne a la vodka and veal sorrentino) both excellent and generous portion size. Would definitely come back.

Super cool place! Pretty small on the inside, cool decor and great ambiance. Dishes are on the expensive side but very good! I enjoyed the steak a lot as well as the shrimp appetizer. Service was very friendly and fast. Would go here again!!

Hi love, this restaurant in Cos Cob, Connecticut. I wanted to find a traditional, old-school Italian restaurant, and this is it. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The people are so friendly and the food is excellent. I like traditional Italian food, not nouvelle cuisine! This is where to go if you like steak, pasta, or seafood. Their chicken Parmesan is excellent. They have a large wine selection, and a great bar area where you can have a dinner or a party of 12. The only dish I’ve ever heard anyone complain about in my groups is the pasta Primavera. But everything else has been great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want traditional Italian food.

All 6 categories exceptional. Service level is excellent. Prompt, not intrusive. The Chicken Louis is my favorite and as much as I try to I lean to another choice that and the fab shrimp appetizer always win. My husband loved his Chicken Scarp- without hot peppers and lived every morsel. We usually eat at the bar but I needed back support due to injury- so we are in the DR. Our waiter was fantastic. He even recommended so Florida East coast restaurants for our upcoming trip.

We had dinner at Louie's on a Saturday night. Even though without a reservation the manager made it happen, ( thank you Pav ). We had a drink at the bar until the table was ready. Salad was super fresh and our main dishes tasted fabulous. Service was excellent, with a smile and very accommodating. I highly recommend Louie's.!

It's not just another Saturday night BUT the best night of the week when Mom closes up the kitchen and gets treated out to this town favorite! With so many delicious specials to choose from - decisions, decisions...the main menu never, ever disappoints! And while finding GLUTEN FREE amongst all the local establishments can be a bit daunting...the chef is always game to accommodate our special requests. The bar and both dining rooms were buzzing all night, yet our waiter was super attentive even after our tab was paid. Hoping we'll be back next week!

Classic old timey Italian spot with excellent food and service. Our server was the perfect amount of friendly and fast. Really good marinara (make sure to get a side of this if you order the zucchini and carrot appetizer) Unnecessary valet parking though being the parking lot is right at the side of the restaurant. Also we didn't get bread! The other tables did so I'll know to ask for it at the start of the meal next time. Even though these two things were a bit annoying the delicious food definitely makes up for it!

Great Food in a beautiful setting, with staff that are efficient and friendly. A word of warning though. While the hot peppers with provolove were very good, they were just too spicy for me, and could easily have ruined my palate for the evening. Delicious? Yes, but be careful.

On a super busy night, 12/31/23 the staff got it all done in fine order. Service was excellent, the food arrived hot and on time, and it didn't have a rushed feeling. A definite recommendation

We are not from the area and we just found this gem because it was close to our hotel. We were skeptical but as soon as we entered the door, we knew it was going to be amazing and it was! The food was delicious and the service was just superb!! We will definitely return!!
