They closed the pizzeria half an hour before closing time. I tried first on the phone then on the website and at 9.40 I was there but only the dishwashers and server were there. I got a pizza

Simply pizza, nothing more than good on a scale of 1 to 10, let's give it a 4 and I also think it's a lot of Pizza, that's all.

This is the best Pizza in Greenwich, but that may change when Patsy's Pizzeria eventually opens.

The service was really really nice. I don’t know if the woman employee was the owner but she was super nice. Nice food, nice place! Coming definitely again :)

Pizza Post is a family-owned and operated Italian restaurant in Greenwich, Connecticut that has been serving up delicious pizza and pasta since 1972. The restaurant is located in a charming, historic building on East Putnam Avenue, and it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pizza at Pizza Post is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and it is cooked in a wood-fired oven. The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings are generous. Some of the most popular pizzas include the Margherita, the Pepperoni, and the White Pizza. In addition to pizza, Pizza Post also serves a variety of pasta dishes, salads, and appetizers. The pasta dishes are made with fresh, homemade pasta, and they are served with your choice of sauce. The salads are large and refreshing, and the appetizers are perfect for sharing.Overall, Pizza Post is a great place to go for a delicious and affordable Italian meal. The pizza is top-notch, the pasta is homemade, and the service is friendly. I highly recommend it!

One of the best Greek salads I have had. Visiting a friend in CT and this was the perfect place to go. Clean, bright and friendy staff. The salad was amazing. It had an abundance of everything. So big it could have been split. Definitely a place to visit.

Local pizza for 51 years. I've been buying there for 50 years. Friendly service. Nice thin crust pizzas. Good Greek salads. Take out or table service.

My Name

I lived in the area in the 90's and my friends and I would frequent The Pizza Post and Pizza Paradisio. I told my kids about "the best pies" and they wanted to try the food. We just made an almost 2.5 hr trip at their request. My kids and their friends agree, The Pizza Post has the best pizza.

We first tried Pizza Post the day we moved to Greenwich in November 1991. We've loyally eaten in and ordered out from here ever since. The people are all very nice and accommodating. The food is great and they offer far more than pizza, with delicious soups, salads, entrees and pasta. They also have catered for us several times and we've enjoyed it all. Very happy it's still in the family and we were all relieved when they came back from the fire - stronger than ever. Also happy that they still allow BYOB at a reasonable corkage, even though they've gotten a liquor license.
