Everyone at the family reunion loved the buffet style dinner made up of hot, fresh baked chicken, fried catfish, pork chops with gravy and rice, cheesy baked mac and cheese, collard greens, corn, candied yams, string beans, cornbread and soda/coffee. There was even enough food left over for about 10 out of 30 guests to take home doggie bags. And all for $20 per person not including desserts. Harold, his wife, and their waitress were friendly and attentive to our needs. We are all going back again soon it was that good. And yes, I ate my leftovers for dinner the next night and it still rocked my taste buds! :)

I like to support a small business. Decided to try Harold's. I was the 2nd customer to come in. About three other customer's came in after me. The lady asked who called in an order and decided to start helping them. To me, it would make sense to find out who came in the door first. I could have easily placed my order. They could have started preparing my food, while ringing up the people that came in after me. Or even if she would have asked who's next. Then say can I ring up these customers first? I could understand that. I get that there were only 2 people working but come on....do a bit better.

I truly enjoy this place and their food. Fresh clean tasting soul food. They have reasonable prices and have been open awhile. I had the lemon pepper chicken wings, Mac and cheese, candied yams, and collard greens. The wings were seasoned to perfection, my only gripe was that the wings were wingettes and not while wings. The service feels some welcoming and patient because it feels like you're at a family member's house who is happy to feed you and proud of what they are serving you.

The food is delicious. I recommend the smothered pork chops and rice and gravy. The chopped cabbage and collards are delicious also. I haven’t tried all of the menu options but the ones I did have more than met my expectations. The atmosphere is friendly and staff courteous and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.Parking: Small parking lot at location. It’s not difficult to find parking, but it is limited due to size.

The reviews about the smothered porkchops melting in your mouth was not an exaggeration. As soon as I tried to cut a piece off with a knife it glided through without any effort and it was seasoned very well. I got the candied yams and cabbage/collard mix for my sides. It's been a long time since I found a restaurant that does collard greens right and Harold's delivered. The yams were delicious too. Overall this will be my go to for good southern food. The restaurant is very well designed and very clean. I ordered takeout because I was there half an hour before closing so there was nobody there but the woman at the front was very warm and welcoming. I look forward to sitting down and enjoying something else from their menu and one of their tables one day. 5 stars.

Saturday was my first time at Harold's.We celebrated my nephews first birthday.I was pleasantly surprised. They have a small but very attentive and kind staff. The atmosphere was nice and laid back. Soft music playing in a nice intimate setting for our party.I was reluctant with wanting to eat there only because I'm extremely picky about food.Especially southern food! The setup was buffet style with fried chicken wings, string beans, baked macaroni and cheese, fried fish, cornbread and more! My taste buds were jumping for joy. The food was absolutely Delicious.I look forward to going back sooner than later.Thank you Harold's for a great experience

Was craving soul food and went here I didn't get my usual which is smothered pork chops white rice and black eye peas I decided to try something different. I am usually pleased with my food today I got Mac n cheese chopped bbq mixed cabbage and greens with yams. My food was lacking flavor the Mac n cheese was hard n dry but the service was great as always it wasn't worth the $18.00
