This small used bookstore attached to a gourmet breakfast and lunch café is a real find! Beautifully prepared popovers, filled with either spinach or ham, delicious omelettes, fluffy scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, all served with great care, give us a truly gourmet spot in a suburb of New Haven Connecticut. Fantastic weekend brunch menu in a casual setting! Ridiculously delicious baked goods (croissants) and creative specials like lemon ricotta pancakes. Custom omelets with fresh ingredients, fresh fruit and friendly service. Sitting is limited ... but turns over quickly.

I've been wanting to try Le Petit Gourmet for a while, and the wait was worth it! Not as "French" as expected but exquisitely prepared food, friendly service, and the used book store next door was an added bonus. We'll definitely be back!
