It’s a clean pokemoto, but fish and topping qualities can be variable. I’ve had some pretty bad and old fish from here and you can’t tell until it’s too late. Way too much sauce and rice too.

We're all pretty obsessed with sushi and poké-- and we do the drive from NYC to VT pretty often, so finding a good poké place conveniently off I-91 and/or Route 15? Score!Consistently good food, fresh fish, good service, reasonable prices... pretty much a win all around!

This Pokemoto location recently had its original owners take over again, and they've done some nice remodeling inside! I really love that they teamed up with Loose Leaf Boba at this location like the Wallingford one. Great food, all fresh and flavorful, and the drinks were amazing as always. Loose leaf has my favorite boba tea ever!

Delicious lunch! Stopped in for a couple of bowls to go and they did not disappoint. I got a build-your-own bowl and my fiancé got a Hawaiian bowl. I loaded mine up with white rice, tuna, salmon, spicy mayo, cucumbers, edamame, kani salad, seaweed salad, cabbage slaw and shredded nori. The regular size bowl was generously packed and very reasonably priced! There are a ton of drink options as well, although I did not try any this time. This place will definitely be my go-to whenever I'm in Hamden! There are a handful of tables inside if you choose to dine in as well.

So so happy the original owners are back! And they brought Loose Leaf Boba which is amazing. Definitely love the drinks they have there it definitely compliments the poke bowls. I got the banana foster with double boba and I have to say it was literally the best boba drink I've ever had. It literally made my eyes pop how good it was. That with my usual go to tuna poke bowl with spicy mayo, chojang, and chili garlic oil. Yummy in my tummy. I'm glad the ordinal owners came back cause they are so nice and are a beautiful family. I can see the employees are treated well as they are so happy working there and offer great service as opposed to some other places I visited in Hamden. The store has been revitalized and I love how they incorporated their neon signs with the grass wall with the new Loose Leaf addition. Truly an instagramable location good for family and friends.

Server was really wonderful, everyone is great here. Nice clean interior, great hangout spot for a meal with friends. If you haven’t tried it before, Poké bowls are usually made with raw fish, similar to sushi, but is is delicious and high quality. I usually get the mixed green base to cut down on carbs. Try it out!

Servers here are always friendly. I usually order the sweet and spicy shrimp signature bowl. It's consistently delicious and the serving size is large enough to be very filling. Definitely recommend a visit if you're looking for something healthy and tasty!

What’s going on? It was my first time back in years - since pre-COVID and it just seems like this location has gone down hill. I came in on a late afternoon on a holiday so I’m not sure if the staff was just hoping to get out early or I’m unsure if it was busy at all that day, but when I came in I almost ran back out. But when I tell you I’ve been craving pokémoto for some time, I was excited to pick up a poke bowl that day and enjoy it like I used to. Instead when I looked at the tuna in the metal bin, there was barely any left and it was just marinating in what looked like tuna juice. After I picked out my meat I noticed that they don’t even mix the mixings with your sauce of choice anymore instead they just squirt a ton of spicy mayo and throw your toppings on top. I’ve never been concerned that I’d get food poisoning from this place but this time I was scared that I would. I’m giving my review three stars because thank god I did not and I was at least able to have some dinner that day. But unfortunately I won’t be back at this location. I’ll check out their other locations and see if those are better maintained.

The worst bowl I’ve had in my life. Kani salad is imitation crab. There was no shrimp, there isn’t any good flavor what so ever. Payed $18.00 for this I will not be returning!
