The Hen House was ranked best fried chicken in CT, so we thought it was worth a visit. The fried chicken really is great as are the sides! We all got the chicken so I can’t address the rest of the entrees. Sides to get: fries, coleslaw, beet salad, marinated veggies. Atmosphere is extremely casual.
I will drive 30 minutes just to get Hen House Chicken dinners and buy extra homemade salads to bring home. It is delicious, inexpensive and the dirty work and clean up is out of my hands. All I do is pay and enjoy.

Ok, I won't need to say to much. My girlfriend and I were in the mood for chicken and she suggested a local joint called the hen house. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but omg to my surprise, the chicken was amazing!!! Crispy and juicy, seasoned perfectly, and plentiful. I recommend this place for chicken and will be back for BBQ.
