We have probably tried everything on the menu over the years and all is terrific! Can highly recommend starting with the wings or bacon chops, or colossal, fresh shrimp cocktail for something lighter. Service (Lila B. was outstanding!) & cocktails always great, and the atmosphere is so cozy & comfortable, especially in the winter.

The shrimp cocktail was fresh and delicious! Onion soup was one of the best I've had. We both ordered salads, the chopped and the wedge, both were great! Also, service was excellent!

The Ossobuco I had yesterday at Founders was truly exceptional. Tender, juicy, and flavorful, this dish exceeded my expectations. The slow-braised meat literally fell off the bone, and the rich sauce was heavenly. The presentation was also impressive, with a generous serving of perfectly cooked vegetables and mashed potato. What's even more remarkable is that this dish wasn't even on the main menu - it was a special that night! I implore the chef to consider making it a permanent fixture, as it truly stole the show. I paired it with a glass of Chardonnay , Copper Ridge from California which complemented the flavors beautifully. Five stars and highly recommended!

My fiancé and I went with a group of friends. She ordered a mixed drink which was served without alcohol, I ordered the pork chop that was served to me raw in the middle and I had to send it back and everyone else ate while their food was hot.Needless to say I can’t recommend and will not be back.

Valentines dinner disappointment. I can give some wiggle room considering it’s a busy holiday but the overall poor service and food was inexcusable. We arrived with a reservation and the hostess didn’t seem to have a table ready for us. After a few minutes of waiting we were escorted to their lovely side dining room to find that another couple were already seated at the table meant for us and the hostess had no idea what to do. So she ends up offering us a 4 seat table in the middle of the crowded bar which was not as romantic as the dining room but we wanted to eat so it is what it is. We didn’t receive our bread and butter until halfway through our dinner entrees. We never were asked if we wanted refills on drinks or if we needed anything. I ordered the stuffed shrimp special and substituted the mashed potatoes with parmesan truffle fries. When the meal came it was just regular fries. I asked if they could be replaced and those didn’t come for 15+ minutes. There were three piles of stuffing on the plate but only two of them had shrimp underneath. Let me repeat, they served me two shrimp with stuffing and a third pile of just stuffing. When I brought this up with the waitress, she asked me to pile the stuffing onto my appetizer plate to take back to the kitchen to “show them” the mistake. At this point, why wasn’t my entire dinner plate taken back to the kitchen? maybe they could have also brought out my fries at the same time. Was the meal supposed to have 2 or 3 stuffed shrimps? I was not given any communication that the shrimp would be replaced. The stuffing was like a paste and made entirely out of ritz crackers. I didn’t taste or see any veggies or seafood in the stuffing. When our meal was finished we asked for the check instead of sticking around and ordering dessert and that is when a waiter came out with a single stuffed shrimp on a plate asking if I wanted it. Our meal was finished and they brought out the food too late. The waiter then placed his hand on my shoulder which was completely unnecessary and informed me that one of my cocktails would be comped. Not my $30+ meal.. just one single cocktail. Then after we receiving the check we found that we were charged for two sodas when we only ordered one. Spend you special occasion elsewhere.

My family and I went here a week or so ago for the first time in a bit and it seems the quality overall has gone down. The prices seem steep for the quality of food you get and it's so loud with the amount of tables they try to fit into the space.

My family and I have been here numerous times. We come here because the atmosphere is nice and friendly staff. However, the last few times I've been here, there's "glitches" along the way. On one visit, I ordered the steak sandwich, and it was served without gorgonzola sauce as written. Took nearly 15 minutes to get it from the kitchen. My father was done eating by the time my sauce came out. This week, I was with my wife and I ordered the double burger and asked for bacon. It came served without and it took 5 minutes to get it. Then the liquor I originally ordered was out of stock, so I ordered a different drink. After I paid my tab, turned out the waiter never took it the original liquor off the bill. So the manager came by and explained what happened and that he refunded my card but also compensated my replacement drink, which was a nice gesture. However, it's mishaps like this that need to be worked on that before going back.

Food was excellent and portions were big. Overall it's superb for the price and the best tasting oysters as well. Save room for dessert because the cheesecake is too die for and it's big enough to share. We both had the swordfish steak and the sea scallops for dinner and both meals were cooked perfectly.
Marcie and Liz were amazing! And so accommodating to all of our needs! Such a great

Steaks are great. Too many Italian pasta dishes. Not the best place for gluten free dishes. Very friendly staff and attractive decor.

Parking is a bit tricky but there is on street parking available. Friendly and accommodating staff. Only downside was I didn't expect green beans and carrots for the chefs vegetable that comes with meats and such. But all and Al very pleasant experience.

Great place for appetizers and cocktails! The wings were so good! Traditional cocktails that are made exactly as they should be (perfect espresso martini!). Also got burgers/sandwiches after which were pretty good, but the apps/drinks were definitely the stars of the show, and the bar area has a great ambience with a beautiful window overlooking the Milford Green.
