The food is delicious, fresh, and satisfying. The owners are passionate and care deeply about providing a quality meal at a fair price. You can tell that they have a clear vision for their food and execute that vision perfectly. I talked at length with the owners and they are so nice, caring, and excited to be of service. Everything is made to order so don't be fooled that "take out" means low quality/cheap. Maha Grill is the real deal for a unique and fresh spin on Indian cuisine. In town for work, didn't look like many options within walking distance, so I gave it a shot. So very happy I did! The food is delicious and the owners are equally amazing!! We had the creamy shrimp, not what I expected, pleasantly surprised, devoured. Chicken wings are large to extra large size, juicy with phenomenal flavor! 3 different nans and again, great. Tikka paneer wrap had great seasoning and a pickled bite in there as well. Chicken Tikka masala is bangin' especially with that rice! This is a must visit, if I lived in the area I would be there once a week at least!

This is by far the best Indian food in Fairfield or New Haven county in Connecticut. Everything is their own recipe and delicious plus they are very friendly. They have a fairly small menu that changes from time to time with new dishes.Vegetarian options: Paneer and chickpeas dishes for vegetarians like me. Best paneer I have ever tasted.Parking: There is a lot of parking.

I went here for the first time, choice is limited, I ordered peri peri chicken and it was really delicious. I think it's little on the expensive side but they make it fresh so worth it. The mango sauce was good and chicken was really flavorful. Will surely come again and try some other stuff.

This is a must visit restaurant if you are in the area of Milford Connecticut. Try out the creamy chicken and let your taste buds take over. ?

Alu tikki burger is delicious, worth a try. Dynamite paneer is Indian spicy! All menu items are freshly cooked which is great as well.

Other "fast food Indian" closed down in New Haven. What can I do? MAHAGRILL to the rescue. This place? Fantastic. The owners are delightful. Food, amazing. I never have to go to Popeyes again - - and although I am OK with that stuff in a pinch, there is no reason to debase myself that way with these guys next door. YUM!

The food and service at Maha Grill is spectacular! I've tasted most of the dishes and love each and every one of them. I'm never disappointed in the least. In additon to their main menu, they often offer specials, so be sure to check the front board or ask if you call ahead. I usually order their signature bowls, which come with perfectly cooked rice and a side pickled salad. (Wow, they hit the spot with the flavors of the meal!) Although I love their chicken dinners (that peri peri flavor is soooo good), I especially love to order their vegetarian meals. And although I'm not a vegetarian, you can't beat their flavors and the freshest of ingredients. My favorite is the chickpea bowl, but I also love their panir (peri peri flavor is good, but ask if they have the dynamite panir....you'll be blown away by the delicious flavor!) If you've never tried Indian food before, you really should go to Maha Grill and ask for suggestions. The owners are so friendly and always offer good advice (which is often because I can never make up my mind!) I guarantee you'll become an instant fan. Try one meat and one vegetarian bowl to really see how skillful they are with preparing delicious tasting food with the best ingredients!
Maha Grill receives above the highest rating. Walking in the restaurant service was Amazing, every question we had was answered. The food was delicious, came back the next weekend for more! Took that drive for the yummiest Indian food. Bonus: They offer a watermelon drink that is super hydrating and has the most refreshing taste. Try them out if a lover of Indian food and in that area.

Tried Maha Grill for the first time and I absolutely LOVED it! Halal, tasty food, friendly atmosphere, great owners, Desi deliciousness all in one place! I ordered Peri Peri Chicken and Creamy Chicken -both tasted delicious. Can't wait to be back soon and try other dishes. Also, highly recommend their fresh watermelon juice with lemon and mint!!

One of the best Desi Food in the town. Awesome presentation, very clean and fresh food. As far as the taste, it is amazing and very delicious.Only thing I would say is a con, the quantity of the food, when you are paying more than $10, you expect to get handful to satisfy one person, but here you always wish for a bit more for a Desi eater.Overall, it is amazing place and very friendly staff.

First time visit to this restaurant. Located in Milford right next to Popeyes which is touch competition. I chose to venture inside and the staff were nice and took the time to go over menu with me. I chose the Peri Peri chicken with rice and salad. Chicken was appropriately seasoned and the guava chutney sauce offered a nice balance. I should've ordered an extra container of the chutney. The rice was fluffy and seasoned well. Also purchased the blueberry lemonade which was the bomb! A perfect drink for the spring/summer months. For the price ($19.30) my portion was ample with leftovers. I gave 4 stars because it's a new restraint and there is always room for improvement. This restaurant is also a nice break from Popeyes.
