I arrived in Milford. Connecticut around 7:45 pm from New Jersey. I checked in to my hotel then arrived at Dumpling House around 8:30 and ordered Scallion Pancakes, Stir-fried Bok Choy and Mushrooms, and Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes. They all worked well with each other; The scrambled egg dish was surprisingly wonderful: perfectly-cooked scrambled eggs sauteed with fresh tomatoes till the maters release their juices. there was enough bok choy and eggs with tomatoes left over that I just mixed them with a free bowl of steamed brown rice that came with the bok choy dish, and it'll be my breakfast tomorrow

This is not your typical sugary American version of Chinese food. We love the Spicy Chicken. It’s fried with a spicy breading and hot peppers, yum. The other spicy dishes are good too. Also we pick at least one of the dumplings or buns. Our favorite local Chinese Restaurant.

We ordered a bunch of dishes for just over $45. All of them were just thrown in the trash. So bland and tasteless that we couldn't ever one dish. Just horrible. Like the chef was sick and they had a homeless person off the street cook food. How is this place even still in business. Shut it Down now.

I have been a loyal customer to the Dumpling House since it opened. There have been issues with the food here and there but never anything that made me give up on ordering there. Last night, I came home with my order to find that half of the food was missing from the bag. I have never had this problem before so I really didn't think to check. To be honest, I am glad this happened because I learned a lot about the type of people that I have been supporting with my business. I called. I mentioned that the food wouldn't taste as good without the accompanying rice that was missing to which I was told that there must be something wrong with me if I can't eat my food without rice. I asked why I was being spoken to like this when they had messed up my order? I asked for the manager. He told me his name was Michael and that he was the manager. He then sarcastically called me a lady and said "that's what you are right, a lady?" (Now he has a problem with me being a woman?) It was a truly bizarre conversation which ended with HIM hanging up on ME because he did not want to deal with the situation. This man insulted me on so many levels that I really don't think anyone should be supporting such a business.

This place has gone downhill. We had a $60 takeout order. Gloppy Tasteless sauces. The dumplings are average. It's an average take out place.

I was looking for a more authentic Chinese restaurant It's happened to be cruising in Milford and saw this restaurant 1st time there was excellent Going back again this week those little steam dumplings are excellent Ashamed they don't deliver to Bridgeport

We ordered takout. We ordered dumplings, scallion pancake, red bean buns and spring rolls. It was and amazing experience. I haven't had scallion pancakes this good since I was in China town in NYC. This was our first time, because we are from out of town, but we will definitely be returning.

Hi Folks. These folks have a nice menu with a wide variety of Dumplings and other pastries on it. The are all just the slightest bit soggy as nothing is pan-fried. Regards, OldeBear
