The food is amazing but used to be way better however... $72.64 for pancakes, French toast, goat cheese medallions and breakfast empanadas. 2 coffee and 2 chocolate milks... cash only so bring extra. Bathrooms smelled funny, lack of servers and the owner is just talking it up without serving to help with short staffing. We used to go here a lot, but with the increasing prices and obvious shortness in help we may wait til next year to go back. Oh, and people come here in mass amounts so there is no shortage of income for this business.
Most amazing breakfast/lunch place. Menu is so unique, owners and staff are aces.
Great local restaurant that serves a wonderful breakfast. I had the Eggs Benedict and it was done perfectly. My friend had the African Hash and really liked it. The menu is quite diverse and far from the usual eggs and hash browns. The portions are generous and the service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommended!
I found this place on Yelp but it was closed when I stopped by. Try them again today and got lucky for brunch. My cousin and I ordered the pork belly dish and the pecan French toasts. We also had fresh orange juice and cocoa. The meal was delish and totally different from brunch dishes anywhere else with their choice of baguette for toasts and pesto sauce over the eggs. Delish! The service is sub par, considering the reputation for great food and its popularity. I look forward to a future visit and hope for better service.
Good little breakfast spot in town. Inside is cool, lots of old and antique items. We sat inside and I got the western omelette without onions and cheese. The home fries and omelette needed more salt but besides that was yummy! They don't take cards though so you can pay via online with the QR code if you don't have cash on you.
Returning customer from Boston! Honestly one of my top restaurants in general and top brunch spot! All of their food is amazing no matter what you get. Service is super quick, as well as the turnaround to get the food at the table. Portion are large too and price is fair. This time I ordered the beef empanada which was amazing. Pro tip: it's greasy after you cut your first bite so drain it The African hash was also really good. Potatoes could've used some seasoning but the spice kick from the meat was really good under some poached egg. Their trio French toast is also a winner for me
Best brunch in Connecticut. French toast is to die for. All the dishes are incredible
Breakfast empanadas were phenomenal!! Super good breakfast. The people who run the place are wonderful and clearly know what they're doing!
The Corner is a cozy spot to grab breakfast or brunch. They use a QR code for the menu, but paper menu's if you need. They are also a cash only establishment, so don't forget to have a few bucks with you. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and home fries, with a side of french toast. Portions were a good size. Food flavor was good, I like a bit more seasoning myself. Staff was great. My waitress was very attentive and made sure I was good at all times. You can sit inside, which is nice and cozy, they have a bar area, or they have a nice patio area out front, with a nice view. I would recommend this spot for sure DC
This is one of my favorite breakfast spots! The food is fantastic, surprising and always delicious. Happy to drive 45 minutes to get there! Expect a short wait, as its always hopping. Bring cash, no cards here.
Amazing omg try the breakfast empanada it's to die for and I hear the breakfast burrito is awesome too so that's next! the decor is cute inside like a comfy mom and pop place they do have a little patio and the staff was so nice and friendly I felt very welcomed! I gained 10lbs eating this but i'd do it again hahah thank you to the corner for a great experience
Has to be one of the best breakfast ive ever had, something different and spontaneous.
Cute breakfast place in the middle of town. One waitress handling all orders for indoor seating and one outside. Not your typical breakfast menu which caught our attention so we tried this place. We sat inside because it was a hot day. Our server/waitress has a support of a cleaning staff and owners to re fill coffees. However owners are busy chatting to regulars so we have to flag our busy waitress just to get a refill of coffee. Food was good and coffee was okay.
Service was incredibly efficient and was warm and inviting. We ordered 3 items for breakfast; pork belly, duck and French toast. All were beyond delicious and the pesto put the pork belly over the top. The duck was perfectly spicy. The French toast was phenomenal and the best I've ever had from West coast to East. We will definitely come here again when visiting this area.
I used to love this place, and it's great that you have vegan options, but here I sit with my mouth and throat burning from the heat in what I THOUGHT was a simple vegan vegetable wrap. I don't know what was used to make it so very 'hot', but I never would have ordered it, had I known. It's a shame, because the vegs were delicious, and it was cooked just right, but this is painful, and now I'm not sure what I can eat there. The staff was friendly, and helpful, but please, can heat like this be optional, and on the side, as the salsa was!
