Great place for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. On warm days I love sitting outside where I get a nice cool breeze coming in from the nearby beach, and for days where the weather is less than spectacular, I can relax inside and let the warm atmosphere keep me comfortable. The espresso drinks are fantastic, and the chocolate croissant is a nice mix of buttery pastry with a not too sweet chocolate filling.Parking: Parking is limited directly in front of the store, but you can usually find a spot further down that strip, or park across the street in the few spots they have marked as "15 minutes only"

I have always had a wonderful experience at Walnut Beach Coffee House! The food, atmosphere and service is awesome and the owners are fantastic! The owners went above and beyond for me one night when I was looking for some outlets to plug in my computer and phone. They had their children with them who I got to spend time with and read books with. The owners and their kids were genuine and courteous.Every time I visit Connecticut I make sure to come in.Fantastic place with great service!

Hot chocolate, cafe au lait, croissants, pastries, toast, sandwiches, soup, all delicious; relaxed creative atmosphere where you can work, socialize, write or just sit and people watch. Sunny flows through windows, on cloud covered days intimate atmosphere, chatty conversations. So glad they have been open during winterGreat place to stop after walking on boardwalk by the beach.

From the moment I stepped into this place, I knew I was in for a treat. The vibe is unmistakably vibrant, with a decor that perfectly encapsulates a laid-back beach and alternative vibe. It's a fantastic neighborhood spot, whether you're looking to hang out with friends, find a quiet corner to work in, or simply relax and people-watch after a leisurely walk on the beach. The drinks menu left me impressed, especially with their inclusion of modern and vegan options. I opted for the pumpkin oat milk chai, and it was nothing short of divine. The flavors were balanced beautifully, making every sip a delightful experience. But the surprises didn't stop there. The pistachio baklava, a creative and wonderfully executed dessert option, was the perfect accompaniment to my drink. It was nice, with just the right blend of sweetness and nuttiness
Very cozy and nice place. You can spend time working or reading. Food is food and a variety of pastries.

I stumbled on this place while looking for a spot to have some coffee as I wrote my dad’s eulogy. With sunshine pouring in through the windows and beautiful tunes like Lucy Dacus’s “Night Shift” playing on the stereo, I couldn’t have found a better spot. The kind baristas make excellent coffee! Street parking is free, easy and abundant. The cafe is located just a hundred yards front the Long Island Sound. Kid and pet friendly! I’ll be back.

I loved the chai latte here! It was one of the best I've had! The French toast though was more plain toast, and when it was asked to add an egg onto the avocado toast, it was a hardboiled egg.Dietary restrictions: They do have almond milk and oat milk, but do charge a fee for them.
