I love Dogwatch Mystic. Great food & atmosphere. When we visited on Sunday, we were only given regular menus. We ordered from the regular menu, and while we were eating, we heard the waitress offering the happy hour menu and specials to people at the next table! I am disappointed that we were not offered the specials.
Dogwatch is my go-to for informal quick meals. There is good variety all well prepared, and a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere. I particularly love the tuna tartar and calamari appetizers and the kale salad paired with a protein as an entrée, but the rest of my family go for the hot or cold lobster rolls, the salmon dish, or the scallops. All very good. The bar is a little noisy at times but well stocked and all the servers are efficient and friendly.
We love to dine at the Dog Watch. The food is always amazing and the staff is friendly. Lizzy was our waitress and she made sure we were taken care of and even chatted with us. I took my wife out for her birthday and we started with two glasses of Sangria. I had the Poke Bowl and my wife had the Salad Pizza which were fantastic.
The Poke was right up there with what I had in Hawaii and the Pizza was so good even covered with mixed greens. The blend of ingredients was delicious.

Wonderful night out to dinner. Friendly wait staff. The meals are good portions, and excellent taste. With many restaurants in the area the Dog Watch Mystic is one of our favorites.

Great experience overall, everything was perfect. They already knew what I wanted and my food was brought out in record time.
We sat outside, so noise was not an issue. The food is always great. They have a charming playground for children (and lawn games for adults) so it is great for families. We are seniors and enjoyed watching the little ones.
This is a great restaurant for folks of all ages. Great playground for the kids and awesome food at a great value. Portions are large so plan accordingly.
I see why the name was changed from dog watch bbq to dog watch mystic. The portion size are great but the taste of the food not so much. Service was not good either.

My son and I had dinner and everything was great. The service was excellent, they made it easy and pleasant to take our time to enjoy the atmosphere and food. The dish we each was perfectly prepared and delicious.
Mackenzie was awesome!! Just wanted to say that first!! We learned about this place from another server at a different restaurant which was also amazing. This was one of the highlights of our visit. The food was incredible in the service McKenzie provided was excellent. She was very friendly, helpful with the menu items, and it was just an all-around fun visit. Looks like they have a lot to do there if the patio is open. Some outside games and just a great atmosphere with a beachy feel. We both had the fish and chips which was probably the best ever. Don't miss this incredible hot spot in Mystic!!❤️🤩🥰

We went with a party of seven. Requested outdoor seating. It started to rain, but they had huge umbrellas over our tables. Lots of choices on the menu, so everyone found something they liked. Food was delicious and service was great.
We had dinner at Dog Watch Café around 8 p.m. and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable meals we have had in a while. My wife and our baby came along, and from the moment we sat down inside, it felt comfortable, almost like being in a home kitchen. The dining room was quiet, warm, and inviting, the kind of space where you can actually relax into a meal together.
The staff were calm and easygoing, attentive without being pushy, and gave the whole place a laid back feeling. It made dining with a baby feel natural instead of stressful, which is not always the case when you go out. Outside, the patio looked beautiful but it was a chilly evening so we stayed indoors. Even from inside you could sense the atmosphere, which added to the charm.
The highlight of the night was the burger. It was cooked exactly right, juicy and full of flavor, and it reminded me that a simple dish can be unforgettable when it is done well.
Dog Watch Café is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to come back. It is welcoming, unpretentious, and leaves you with the feeling of having shared a good meal in the right place at the right time.
Scallops were perfectly cooked, as were the fresh veggies. Server was attentive , patient and witty
Attended a rehearsal dinner here in the private event space. The food was fantastic and service was great. Really cool little outdoor spot.

We sat on the patio on a beautiful September day- what's not to like? Great service and great food. I'm just sorry that we live in northern New Hampshire and have nothing this good near us.
