During my visit at Locali, I ordered the famous clam pizza, which had a great flavor and overall taste but was way too rich and creamy for my liking. It was almost like a soup in the middle of the pizza, kind of like Alfredo sauce. The clams were great though and I liked the pizza dough. In addition, the waitress had given my pizza to a different table so I had to wait a bit for it to come. It ended up being free, so that made up for it. Overall the experience was good and all the other food items were great.

Took a drive up here last Sunday to visit the town and stopped by this restaurant for lunch and we were served so quickly, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the food options even gave us recommendations for this chicken pizza and their mocktails are insane. This is a must go to anyone visiting New Canaan CT, their portions and pizza are to die for!!!!

Our 5p patio table was attacked by bees as soon as our food arrived, along with the table next to us. The other table moved inside, but when I asked to move ours inside (I am allergic to bees and we also had two children who have never been stung), we were told there was no room. I went inside to speak to the manager and noticed four empty tables, but when I asked if we could take one of the tables to just finish our food I was told they had future reservations and we could not sit there. Literally the WORST customer service, and the pizza that we packed up to eat at home was dry and subpar. If you want a delicious mushroom pizza, 314 puts this one to shame. Will never go back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Locali Restaurant in New Canaan, and it was a truly delightful experience. The menu offers a fantastic selection of dishes, and everything I tried exceeded expectations.
One standout appetizer was the Hot Honey Whipped Ricotta—a perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and spicy flavors that was both innovative and delicious. The Goat Pizza was also fantastic, featuring fresh ingredients and a perfectly baked crust.
The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Famous Locali Clam Pizza—by far the best pizza I've had in a very very long time. Crispy, flavorful, and expertly crafted, it’s a must-try for pizza lovers. I grew up in Brooklyn and have had pizza literally all over the world. This is the real deal.
For the main course, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Milanese, which was simply amazing. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with a satisfying crispy crust.
Locali Restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with top-notch dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for exceptional food and great service.

To be honest, I would have preferred to send it back and get a new one, but I didn’t want to spoil the atmosphere of our gathering. It was disappointing, as I expected better quality. Friday (feb/28) we were at new canaan Locali . We arrived at 7.30pm, no reservation. The restaurant had several empty tables, but the attendant recommended us a take out, because we could not sit without reservation. So, we left the place and went to Spiga, where we had an excellent night. However, last Friday (03/07) my wife called and made a reservation for 4 people at 8.30pm. We arrived at 8 and we were waiting on the counter (me, my wife and 2 children). So, at 8.45 the attendant told us that we had the OPTION TO EAT IN THE COUNTER or we could leave, because there would be no seats available in the restaurant until closing time.
I have had bad experiences before in restaurants, but never in my life I was so disrespected as a customer. It was really the worst experience I’ve ever had and I hope it never happens again. I am sure that in the Locali I will not have the option of being poorly served, because never again (NEVER AGAIN) Me, my family or friends will set foot in this restaurant. If you do not have the ability to lead and respect consumers, even with reservation, you should close the doors and look for another branch of action, because restaurants is not suitable for you.

We sat outside on a beautiful day so my atmosphere rating doesn't speak for the inside, which I haven't really seen. If I'm honest. The food was really good, the service was pretty good. We loved that our specific needs regarding dairy and gluten could be met easily and the food still tasted excellent. Yes they have gluten-free pizza guys. Sadly not cauliflower crust but still pretty good. The wait staff are local youths and tryhard, but never quite the same as experienced trained staff. Really nice kids in New Canaan! A lot to learn about waiting tables.
Since we moved from Brooklyn, this place is our go-to. Most flavorful and great ambiance that we’ve found in Fairfield county so far.

I have ordered from Uber for this place quite consistently in the years I’ve lived in Stamford and the food never disappoints. I was disappointed by my experience at the restaurant as when I asked for some sauce for chicken wings one of the employees shot me down immediately and said no we don’t have any sauces.Then they charged me out of the blue for a sparkling water, but instead of being gracious, the manager just argued with me about it and made it a big deal. The experience left a bad taste in my mouth after a long work day so I would not recommend it.
