Nothing Cajun about this place. Stop using cajun for everything. And Jesus Christ, squid doesn't go in gumbo! You're bastardizing our food and culture. The fish was fried in wet batter, we use corn meal. The shrimp, I can even explain how they were cooked but we don't fry them flat with breadcrumbs. And you dont even have Louisiana, Crystal, or Tabasco hot sauce. Service also felt rushed, didn't even get offered another beer.

Soooo just randomly chose to eat here before the snow storm with my teenagers. The Shrimp Po Boy was sooo yummy and whatever that sauce is I need it in a bottle it is so good. Food was very Fresh including the boil and very flavorful. Service was great syper attentive staff. Will definitely return!

Honestly the service I would give it NO stars because this like my 7th time coming here and they never come and check up on you to see If you need anything. I came in today and the whole time the girl was standing on her phone.. The food is ALWAYS amazing but the service sucks. They are sometimes even rude. I still honestly come JUST because of the food. ??♀️

Me and my wife order take out food from this place a lot. their food is good and tasty but the lady at the checkout register had extremely rude attitude when we had some small orders she looks really mad and nasty even on the phone we just asked a few questions i could feel her sucks attitude NEVER COME BACK AND BE PROFESSIONAL

Excellent seafood and fried food!! Came with a friend who makes a tradition out of visiting whenever in New Haven and i can see why--everything was fresh and high quality. Even the fried food, which I expect to not be fried to order, was freshly made. My highlight was the fried shrimp--others loved the shrimp boil with a side of rice.

We ordered the hot lobster roll and it came stuffed with lettuce and tomato and the smallest amount possible of overcooked lobster to cover all the stuffing so it looked full. The crab fries came with the measliest amount of crab though the fries itself were good. Not worth it in my opinion even if the prices are good, the food quality is low for those items.
