Great Fried Chicken no grease just very tasty Chicken . No sit down just takeout . The Derby location is much bigger with sit down . The location is on Whalley Ave . If your in New Haven and want good Fried Chicken Crown is the place. Don't let this location throw you off . They also accept Credit Cards now not just Cash .
The food is great. I enjoy their chicken alot. The mac and cheese is legit to. They have expanded their menu by adding chicken and rice which seems luxurious and great taste. The atmosphere isn't perfect but good to take and go. Also its a convenient location in the main street. Overall I would recommend this place because the chicken taste like home made chicken.

This beats all the other Fried Chicken Chains in Connecticut.Visiting New Haven was hungry for good Fried Chicken.Crown Fried Chicken tasted way better then KFC or Popeyes.The Chicken is very tasty and Juicy.Not much seating great for takeout.Parking on side of building .
