Nice area to walk through and maybe sit to enjoy company with another over some coffee. Plenty of food options near by to enjoy. Does have homeless around of course but they seem to be nice and innocent for the most part.

This is a place you can come to everyday. I live in New Haven and I am here often. The buses stop here on all sides of the green depending on were you want to go. The beautiful city hall is on one side, a Court House, the Library, three Churches are all around the green. The Chapel St. side where a lot of people wait for the bus is what people find a bit uncomfortable. But for the most part everyone is cool.Dog-friendliness: Lots of space to walk your ?.
