Love the create your own poke bowl. Just recently visited for the first time and the staff is super nice/helpful. All the food seems really fresh too! Will for sure be back.

Omg I haven't been here in a minute talking like since Covid well I was here about a month ago and I was not disappointed at all. Stopped by in August on a Friday night and the lady who took care of me was very sweet. They was a customer ahead of me he had his puppy waiting outside it was so cute how he was trying to get his owners attention The food and all the added ingredients was all delicious the atmosphere was a vibe and the lady behind in the kitchen was very sweet as well. The price was worth it and I miss not going here after eating my bowl. Keep up the good work

I stumbled across this PokeMoto while walking around downtown. I've been to a similar type of establishment last year and I loved it. I like how you have all these options to choose from to add to your rice. I got a bowl with Salmon in it and then just added to it with veggies, teriyaki sauce and some crunch. You can't go wrong if you like rice, and Asian flavor. Service was quick, staff was friendly and it was very clean inside.

They charge me twice on my order. Been calling so I can get a refund on my order and they keep telling me it’s been done, which it has not. I have volunteer to drive there and show them that it has not and they keep telling me no.
Consistently tasty and fresh! Very reasonable prices for near yale; nice people. Recommended for anyone in the area wanting fresh fish

I’m not from New Haven but my in laws are there. This will be my go to spot every time i visit. Already looking forward to next Sunday. I got the poke bowl with 3 proteins. He then asked me what else i wanted in it and then mixed it together. The taste was everything. I highly highly highly suggest you try this place. The employees were nice too.

Ordered through Doordash. They messed up my order by switching out ahi tuna with spam. There was very little sauce. And the rice was hard like it was made days ago.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I waited 10 minutes before someone came to the front to help me. The employee was absolutely rude, and they were out of white rice and creamy miso, and the brown rice was crunchy and overcooked. Overall a negative experience.

We’ve ordered from this Pokémoto location many times. Over the past 6 months, our orders have had consistent issues (i.e. missing items, wrong items, and food being overly greasy/sauced).My wife has an allergy to onions. We never choose onions and explicitly ask restaurants to exclude regardless of our order. The staff still managed to include onions in our order today.I understand this location processes many orders every day, but this is unacceptable. You need to be better. Educate your staff or pay them better wages if they feel too burnt out to notice.
