I've never encountered a business as rude as this one. Owner was swearing up and down at his own customers, I couldn't believe it. Food reminded me of stuff I ate at my school cafeteria growing up, do better.

I bought tickets for an ugly Christmas sweater bar crawl that took place at this place and was supposed to last from 6-9pm. As me and my friends were walking in at 8pm, the "owner" stopped us and was cursing at us telling us to leave because they're closed. We were completely sober and extremely respectful and so his behavior was uncalled for. Then as others were leaving while we were having this interaction he was cursing at them as well and inappropriately touched another girl while cursing at her telling her to leave. I cannot believe this happened to me tonight and ruined my entire experience.

Decades of giving this place a chance bc I appreciate the “design your own salad”Positives: The food comes as ordered, proving the kitchen withstood the test of multiple owners.Negatives:The bathroom had an aged, empty & quite broken soap dispenser with 2 empty paper towel dispensers.Leaving customers with no way to cleanse their hands.MORE importantly how are the employees expected to do the same.When this was pointed out a man brought hand sanitizing gel into the bathroom ?♀️The sweet young server, while polite, was not attentive. She was of the age that this is very forgivable but she certainly will not receive training from the absent management here.I think I’m giving up this time ?

I really enjoyed most of the food at temple grill, except for my chicken panini. The chicken on my sandwich was pretty pink and that is the only thing that could have made me pretty sick afterwards. I was worried about it when I ate it, but I couldn't get my waitress's attention as she was MIA for most of the time we were there. I threw my leftover sandwich out when I got home. The service was pretty bad except for the bus boy who basically took care of us a majority of our time there. I really liked our appetizers - wings with sweet Thai chili sauce and spinach and artichoke dip. Overall, my experience at Temple Grill was okay, but I wouldn't rush back due to the service from my waitress. I also recommend that their chef checks the temperature of the meat before serving it! I know mistakes happen and I've had pleasant experiences at this restaurant in the past, but they should be more careful.

Unfortunately, service was super slow even though we were 1of 2 tables. There was only one waitress and bus boy to cover. We were sat immediately but there for 2.5hrs bc of the service. By hour 1.5, 4 more tables filled up and the service was even slower. I really appreciate the bus boy as he checked in on our table far more than the waitress, from refilling our water to serving our food. Another sad note, when I went to eat my entree, the Tuscan chicken panini, the chicken tasted very rubbery and looked pink. I added mushrooms to the dish and they forgot to add. I wasn't able to get the waitresses attention about it. I decided to stop eating it after a few bites and later on had a stomach ache... On the bright side, I came with an empty stomach and left very full! The platters are huge, big enough to share everything. I think my two favorite items have to be the sweet red chilli wings and spinach & artichoke dip, so delicious! (both on app menu) Luckily, I was full on apps and didn't need to eat my entree but the panini was a waste of $ in my opinion!

The service and wings were mediocre but the outdoor seating was a nice plus even though the patio was very messy and needed a really good cleanup. They were slow to remove empty glasses and the waitress double orders our drinks because she forgot she ordered themand ordered them again. The New Englander IPA was good. All in all we had a good time with family.

The food was good. Ahi Tuna was yummy so as the giant pretzel. Dips were very tasty. Service was ok but we never got our drinks. Overall it was nice to sit outside and have a meal.
The stars are for the staff and waitress who were very pleasant. But I'm sorry, the mixed drinks we got were awful. Fake sour mix. And the food was very bad. Definitely frozen stuff just heated up. Like eating dinner at a bowling alley. I feel so disappointed that we chose this spot when there's so many good restaurants in the area :(

It seems like since the pandemic this place has really declined. Waitress was great. Food awful. I ordered the veggie wrap. I'd had this many times pre-pandemic and it was great. It's now a dripping soggy mess. The veggies are huge chunks rather that roasted slices and cooled but no evidence of roasting. Fries mediocre. My friend had the pasta, which was obviously reheated. My other friend had steak - he found a little bit buried under the mushrooms. This is our second time having this sort of experience here - our second visit since New Haven reopened. Our last. It's too bad. It was our favorite back before COVID. And it's not the service. You need new cooks!

Had lunch there. The place has an average looking dining room but the outdoor seating was pleasant and pet friendly. My grilled chicken sandwich looked delicious but the chicken was a bit hard to chew and still cool on the inside. Frozen, precooked?? And overall the sandwich lacked flavor. The side of onion rings was excellent and plentiful. Although the sandwich had it's faults, I like the place with it's outdoor patio pleasant casual feel and friendly staff. I would return.

Got food through DoorDash who was on time. The money that they charge is too much for the food that they sell. Our food was dry and they didn’t follow any of the instructions. Good is not great. Sorry
