This is the closest to home cooking packaged as fast food. Nuggets are real chicken they have chicken parm sandwiches! Burgers and the toppings are fresh. You can tell they rely on the flattop/cook top to cook most of the meals. The wait is a little longer but always worth it.

The food is good, if you can get them to take your order. This is the only restaurant in the area that sells authentic Maine Whoopee Pies. This is also the only restaurant in the area where I was refused service at the drive-thru, TWICE. With all the restaurants struggling and closing post-pandemic, you would think customer service would be top of mind. Not here. Once is an anomaly. But this was the second time. I will be eating elsewhere. Good Luck!

It's like a family-style McDonald's with a lot more options to choose from that aren't included in most fast food chains that make this restaurant more enjoyable than IHOP, Denny's or Friendly's with quicker service.You won't find something surprisingly special in most restaurants but at Duchess they serve Fried OREOs (like the ones they serve at fairs).The employees running this restaurant are really courteous. Their food is cooked the right way without mishaps.You can't miss out on special items put out on the menu.That ain't all that bad when you choose Duchess if you really want to enjoy eating out wherever you're in that area.I had Eggplant Parmesan and it was really good. It's nice to eat out at a place like this where they serve high-quality food items with fast service.
