I've been coming here for over 20 years. Best hot dogs /chilli dogs and milkshakes in southington. If you are up early they also have the best breakfast. We come every Sunday for saints Sunday.

Place was really dirty,, grossed me out, use to go there and moved to Florida, came back to visit for the hotdogs because that’s what there known for, first thing i noticed when i walked in was all the really dirty corners behind the counter, on floor and up all there cabinets,? That was never ever like that before, i ordered 2 dogs with onions sauce and mustard, as i am waiting i see that Mexican guy cooking rubbing the sweet from his head with his hands and continue on to touching food he was preparing,? I now got my dogs and when i walked outside through them in there garbage can, that place is done, who ever is running it now is running it to the ground, tobad because it was such a staple for southington/plainville for so long

I was really unhappy, disappointed and upset. The server bought my food over to my family's table without a plate! What were we supposed to do eat on the paper placemats.We actually had to ask for plates! The meal was unimpressive. There's a funny odor in the air, the restroom toilet was clogged, and the granddaughter who's a server overinforms about the history of the restaurant while we were eating. I do not suggest this stinky hot dog joint for anyone!

Worst chili dog I have ever eaten. So fricken salty it tastes like crap. Try boiling the dogs in hot water for a minute or 2 to get the curing out. I will never stop again. It is capital lunch for me.

Now I've been coming here since I was a kid...Saints is the best restaurant in the area where your always greeted with a smile, they have daily specials, great variety of food, family owned and operated....so many regulars come in for their favorite dish. They make EXCELLENT corn chowder but only now and then, if you want they will take your number and call you the morning of the day they will be serving it. My favorite thing besides their hot dogs, is their MILKSHAKES....They have, hands down...the absolute BEST Vanilla shake anywhere around here. I can drive an hour to the Berkshires for a great one but I got Saints right here just 1 mile away. I want one now. Yum!!!
