Great breakfast with fresh corned beef hash and delicous fresh blueberry pancakes. Owner is friendly and always has time to talk. Coffee comes in a big mug so no need for constant refills.

Chicken pot pie was disgusting! No crust and burnt ingredients! The owner did not want to be there. The place is filthy! Food was not edible!

My wife and myself, along with my elderly mother stopped in at 5pm on a Wednesday. The place was totally empty. We all ordered the chicken pot pie because we had heard how good they were. The owner also said he had just made them. The food was terrible, the pot pies were more like burnt pea soup with a "toast topper" . No crust at all like a real pot pie. Not once did the owner come to our table after he served us. He knew what our response would be, terrible! This was the worst restaurant experience in our lives!

This is a small Eatery that you would pass by without even knowing. I've eaten here before and totally forgot about it. The gentleman cooking my food, I assume to be the owner, has a great way of doing business. On this particular day, he did everything himself, and there were a few people eating. He made homemade chicken pot pie in a bowl with a toasted bread topping. It was actually really good.I found it to be a little pricey, but what a great lunch. Something you're not going to get anywhere else

if I could give this place zero stars I would. the food was repulsive and burnt. the waitress which seems to be only one was horrendous. the service was terrible and the lady was miserable. don't even get me started on the ambiance. TERRIBLE. it was dirty and sticky and the chairs were all dirty. let's just say that if the health department paid them a visit they wouldn't be open anymore. there were flies everywhere and had to cover your food before a fly landed on it. I am repulsed by this experience and am going to call the health department myself. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!

Absolutely stumbled upon this charming gem of a restaurant! The food here is truly exceptional, and the pastrami, which they craft in-house, is an absolute standout. The owners are not only warm and welcoming but also incredibly passionate about their establishment. The atmosphere, with its old-school and eclectic vibes, adds a unique and cozy touch to the overall experience. If you're in search of a delightful dining spot, I can't recommend this place enough! I can't wait for the opportunity to visit again and savor their delicious offerings.

My goodness, this is the place to eat. Food was reasonably priced and excellent. Pancakes were huge and cooked perfectly. My daughter loves coconut, and it wasn't on the menu, but they made this wonderful toasted coconut pancake that was amazing. We were a party of 6, so we tried multiple items, and they all were excellent. We went on a Sunday morning around 11 and it was super busy. Just a heads up!

Yesterday my aunt, uncle and nephew took me out for a birthday breakfast and it was simply delicious! I actually live right by the restaurant but have never been so I was excited to finally try it.There was my family along with two or three other tables but only one gentleman working! And you wouldn’t know it! He made the food, waited on all of us and I’m sure did the dishes and rung out other customer’s to go orders too! I’m thinking of going back today to give another tip and just say thanks again. I was so impressed and delighted with every bite.☺️We ordered steak Benedict, Corned Beef Benedict, a Ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and I think Texas French Toast? All with home fries. With coffee, Oj and chocolate milk. YUM?Thanks again Henry’s!I can’t wait to stop by for lunch!

Nestled away in a quiet Connecticut parking lot, Henry's is a culinary treasure waiting to be discovered. From the moment you step inside, Henry himself greets you with a genuine warmth that instantly makes you feel like a cherished guest in his own home. This personal touch sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience that goes beyond the ordinary. Now, let's talk about the star of the show: their chicken pot pie. It's nothing short of a masterpiece. The garlic crust gives way to a filling that's a symphony of flavors. The chicken is tender, the vegetables impeccably cooked, and the savory gravy ties everything together in a delightful blend of comfort and sophistication. But Henry's is not just about the food; it's about the entire experience. The cozy ambiance, the attentive service, and the sense of being part of something special make this visit truly memorable. It's evident that every dish is crafted with meticulous care and passion, resulting in an exceptional dining adventure. If you're fortunate enough to stumble upon Henry's, don't hesitate to enter. It's not just a restaurant; it's a haven of culinary excellence and heartfelt hospitality. Henry's is a hidden treasure worth seeking out, and I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit to savor that remarkable chicken pot pie and relish the warm embrace of this charming establishment.

Simple but delightful little local cafe/diner. Warm welcome by Henry, proprietor and chef. Basic but interesting and sufficient menu. Food freshly cooked, prepared and served by Henry himself. Great value. Easy parking at the rear. First class place for a simple lunch in a small town.
