Ordered fish and when the food should have been delivered I was informed there was no more. I ordered the ribs and they were tough only ate 1/2, didn't enjoy the corn mix that came with it. They did provide free dessert but that didn't make up for the dinner. Didn't say anything to the waitress because she provided good service and I don't believe it was her fault.

Service was slow while the ambiance was quite nice. There were many open tables but they placed us next to a louder table than ours? I enjoyed my entree while my partner did not, looking for some vegetarian options beyond salad. The other couple enjoyed their meals.

The food, drink, presentation, and service was excellent. Definitely a place we will go back to for special occasions. Food is cooked to order and worth the wait. Some of the meals are pricey.

The restaurant was nearly empty at 8:00pm on a Friday night, which was fine considering we prefer quiet spots. But our waitress behaved bizarrely towards us – she made some distasteful comments, including mocking my boyfriend to his face, and suggestively saying that he would “be happy later” because I was drinking. She did not appear to behave this way toward the couple behind us. He and I laughed it off and still enjoyed each other's company, but we were very antsy to leave by the time our food arrived. When our entrees came, the waitress gossiped to us about the food runner, saying “he's been here for three years and still doesn't know what the hell he's doing.” It was very unprofessional, and certainly unexpected for one of the seemingly nicer local restaurants. Regarding the food – the tostones and tilapia were flavorful and fresh, and the portions were generous. The ribs were very tough, but the yucca fries that came with were delicious. We hastily ate our food so we could leave. My boyfriend paid and insisted on tipping the waitress generously despite her poor service etiquette. I asked him to wait for me outside. I wanted to tell the waitress that the food was good, but that she had made us uncomfortable, and we likely wouldn't be coming back. I waited patiently for a chance to speak to her. When I did, I was asked to elaborate, so I cited some of the things she said. She made a contorted face, defensively asserting “I didn't mean it, I was just joking” instead of providing an apology. I wished the workers a good evening and left. It was a horrible experience, and certainly not a reflection of the reviews I had read online before coming here. I do NOT recommend this restaurant. For the same price (or cheaper), there are other restaurants in the area with consistent, outstanding service and food of a higher caliber.
