On a dreary January afternoon this tucked away vineyard offers charm and warmth. The Washington Red is a lush and flavorful merlot . Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoy a glass or 2 with friends here and enjoy the positive vibes.

Stopped in mid-week for a tasting while traveling in the area. The tasting room was decorated for the holiday and they had a cozy fire going in the wood stove. Was pleasantly surprised by both the variety of selections as well as the quality of the wines. The tasings are $20 for four of your choice including the sparkling selections. There were several that warranted purchasing bottles to bring home. We also enjoyed the selection of local cheeses they had for sale. Would like to return here in the nicer weather months to enjoy the wine in their outdoor seating area.

Beautiful place, four flights for $20, the pumpkin spice wine slushy was amazing. I ended up buying two award winners priced reasonably. I can’t imagine how beautiful this place must be in mid summer. I advise calling ahead to see if they have a food truck and if it’s not spur the moment, it’s nice to pack a picnic basket. Customer service was on point. Yes, I would visit again no doubt.

Our favorite place to go with some snacks and just chill out with a really nice glass of wine

Really enjoyed our time at this vineyard and winery. Brought the entire family and we enjoyed a few wine flights, and some locally created chocolates. The atmosphere is very laid-back, open, air, and vibrant. This is the kind of place you can bring a group of people and chill out for several hours while enjoying a number of tasty wine options. The pours as part of the wine flights are generous. To put this into perspective for samples equals roughly 2 glasses of wine. So take that into account when looking at the prices. We could've purchased 8 different bottles, but went with the Sauvignon Blanc, Casa Rosso, and Founders's Reserve this time around. Service was friendly, and staff was more than happy to answer questions about the winery's history and make solid recommendations. I will definitely keep this on the radar for future visits to Connecticut.

My first time here. I ordered a flight of 4 tastings, which was $20. I was skeptical based on the price. So 3 of the 4 I ordered were award winners. They did not disappoint. All were very tasty. I highly recommend this place. It's also very beautiful outside.

Very lovely winery with outdoor seating. Beautiful view of the vines, beautiful flowers encasing the outdoor seating area. I'm not a drinker so I can't comment on the wine. Great place for get-togethers, especially when they have live music. Very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere.

Very nice winery .Brandy and staff were very nice . Had a nice conversation with Frank at the outside bar . I would comment on the wine but I do not drink wine . My friends mention its much better than the wine from a nearby winery . Not familiar as I am from Vermont .Check this winery out and I don't think you will be dissapointed .

A whole vibe on a sunny day! The rolling hills of vineyard this place is named for are so lovely. Lots of outdoor seating to take in the vines and the grounds, which also have a cute little chicken coop and a house where you go in to order.Good menu. They have a mix of more traditional wines and wine slushees. We tried both and thoroughly enjoyed. The wine slushees are a sweet treat but not overly so and are cool and refreshing. The Chardonnay was also refreshing and delicious. I haven't had much Connecticut wine before and this exceeded my expectations. Only gripe is that people are drinking yet you have to pay for water, which they only have bottled. Seems like a bad idea. This was otherwise a very nice experience. The space was lovely, the wine good, and the people working here nice. Worth a visit!

Only 1 restroom for all the patrons which honestly if I were able to do it-rating would be 3.5 due to that issue alone. Wine is divine though and the food trucks are great. Check out Berria Mia when u can.

Wonderful location, very relaxing. Great staff and not to say.....the wine is wonderful. Great outdoors to sit and have a picnic. Bring your own food, and on the weekends a food truck is available.

3/29/23: We stopped in Paradise Hills during the late morning. Place was empty. Didn't get great vibes from the server. We shared a flight while sitting outdoors. It was a lovely sunny day. Unfortunately, none of the wines appealed to us. I'd skip this winery.

While a lovely venue and good wine, they don’t treat their staff with much respect. The most concerning issue is servers are not allowed to keep tips. They say by paying $15/hour this makes up for the tips in the jars on the bar that they say they use for a local scholarship. If they want to fund a scholarship, that’s wonderful, but it shouldn’t come from the money in the tip jars, that should come from the profits from the winery. Most patrons are unaware of this practice and it is not readily made known on the tip jars. It is not uncommon for any of the owners to use some of those funds to go buy water or snacks for the bar and resell them. Patrons have been told directly by the owners when attempting to tip that they don’t allow servers to accept tips. Tips are important as servers and if you have a really good server that’s a slap in the face. Their practice of no tipping is disrespectful and disgusting.
