We had Tacos. Reasonable price and nice behavior of the restaurant staffs. We however went to have soups in a rainy day and came to know they serve soups on weekends only. There’s meat shop beside this restaurant.

Very attentive and good food, especially the Menudo.
The most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Connecticut. Excellent quality for a very reasonable price. Friendly and welcoming staff. Food selection will appeal to American palates with standard chicken, beef, and pork items, as well as more adventurous choices like tongue and tripe. The atmosphere is strip mall takeout, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth trying.

Wallingford is flavor deprived. Went to a tap house and ordered a brisket sandwich to get meat with the consistency of jello. Hotel continental breakfast served runny eggs and breakfast sausage without the sugar, black pepper, caraway and other spices that make it a welcome treat in the morning. Tasted like liquified cartilage with the dryness of cardboard (Insert Movie advertisement voice) Wallingford needed a superhero, someone to bring flavor and seasoning to town that doesn't have it. Chefs and staff that keep the kitchen and dining area clean...Fabuloso clean. (End advertisement) After eating in this city for two days and walking into this restaurant; I, in that moment, realized how England ,France, Spain and Portugal must have felt around 1500 when the trade routes opened up and they started receiving spices .... All I'm saying is this the staff at Taqueria Mexico is doing the Lord's work Burrito was a little dry but the Salsa Rojo more than made up for it. If I had one critique for this restaurant I would say to always plate your food and bring it out piping hot, my burrito was room temperature but still delicious. One burrito and 4 tacos for 26 bucks ( the price is right) Go and check these guys out, they deserve your business Buen Provecho
