Ordered a pizza with sausage and the crust was over cooked and burnt both on the top and the bottom and the tomato sauce on top was watery. The waitress was very nice and the place seemed nice and we didn’t complain and just decided that we could get a much better pizza somewhere else and for much less than what they charged.

Although this restaurant is fairly new, Ria & her family have been feeding Waterbury residents for decades through their various family restaurants. Ria takes it to another level. Her food is outstanding, the staff become friends of yours the very first visit... & because of that, everyone in the restaurant starts chatting to each other!!
Her sauce is incredible & salad dressing is so good that people buy it by the bottle to take home. Going to Ria's to eat is like going home to Sunday supper, delicious meals better thank your Nonna's, surrounded by friends & family you didn't even know before you arrived. Love this place!!

Had the privilege to be tended to by Ria. She was very attentive, making sure our needs were met. The food was amazing👏🏻

The food was really bland. The meatballs and calamari did not have any flavor at all! They need to put some parsley and some salt, just something to increase flavor. And I only got two meatballs for the price, which is pricey! I mean, even though they’re a big, I don’t think it was worth the price and also because of the lack of flavor too. And some pasta at the side would have been nice too. Compared to NY, CT skims on food and doesn’t give enough food for the money. I have seen this time and time again..

A really beautiful environment. I had some beers to go with the garlic knots. The food is very fresh, the people are wonderful and you're sure to find a new friend.
Also, Amy and Julio are super friendly and nice people!

You won't be disappointed!!!!

This is the best restaurant in the state of CT! Maria is a wonderful person and welcoming. The bartender Amy is also wonderful she knows you by name and the drink you always order. Great staff and food! If you haven’t been you need to try Ria’s!

The staff is pretty friendly and understanding but when ordered a pizza it was completely burnt. I ordered another a few weeks later because I thought maybe it was just a mistake the first time but it was burnt and very dusty. The parking is respectfully hell which causes people to park in the neighborhood and businesses nearby (got trapped in the parking lot at some point). Not completely connected to the restaurant service but what had to be the worst part was when I decided to stay the night at the house of a buddy who lived damn near right next to the restaurant (they lived there before the restaurant was there) and they blasted country music at insane levels almost all night. I feel sorry for the people who live near there. The atmosphere can definitely feel a bit uncomfortable with the bar area so close to the booths but for the most part Ria's has a certain charm to it.

The atmosphere was absolutely delightful, and the service was incredibly warm, welcoming, and understanding. The staff provided excellent recommendations on what to order. The garlic bread transported me to Italy, tasting like fresh bread straight from a grandmother's oven with garden-fresh garlic - it was simply divine. The Moscow Mule was a tantalizing and refreshing treat, expertly crafted and beautifully presented. The salad was a burst of freshness with a homemade dressing that was simply delightful. The main dishes were pure bliss; my chicken masala with perfectly cooked pasta and fresh mushrooms was a heavenly experience. The hardworking and attentive waitstaff ensured we lacked nothing, even amidst the bustling crowd. The only drawback was the limited parking space, but I can already feel myself becoming a regular at this charming restaurant.

Everything thing was great other than what they charged for the sausage and broccoli rabe with pasta. It was 32.00 which I think was way over priced. It. Wason the menu board so I could not see the price otherwise I would never have ordered it. Otherwise we had a great time with our waitress,:
