We happened in here when the restaurant we'd planned to go to was closed. We were very pleasantly surprised, having never heard of this restaurant. The owner/host was very friendly and warm, and even made sure to put a note on our car for the parking so we would not get ticketed. The food was excellent. The server was also very friendly.
I was at the Mattatuck Museum to attend a meeting and decided to shop, visit the exhibitions and have some lunch from Yum. I believe they catered the breakfast buffet that was available during the meeting and it was fabulous. It is not often that you get to enjoy a stick to your ribs breakfast when attending a business meeting but The Art of Yum provided one of the best that I have experienced in quite some time. The Cafe had a great art display and fun atmosphere. The food was a little slow but the waitress told us that at the beginning so wasn't a huge deal. The sandwiches were delicious
