Absolutely amazing food and the owner is so kind and lovely. I feel so bad that I don't remember her name, because she had remembered everything from our first conversation when we went back for the second time 9 months later!! We live pretty far away, otherwise would be there so much more often. Ask her opinion for what to get if you aren't sure, she has fantastic recommendations.

THIS FOOD IS AH-MAZING. I am visiting CT from Boston and have never had such well crafted food. Truly will miss this place when I head back. If you haven’t tried their food yet you are truly missing out. The staff cared so much about our experience and made me and my whole family feel welcome. Thank you SO

My fiancé and I came for dinner this weekend and it was absolutely scrumptious!! Where to start? The service was impeccable - we had two very kind servers who were attentive and so friendly. We were greeted & seated immediately. We requested to switch tables to be by the window and they quickly accommodated. Now, let’s talk about THE FOOD!!!! WOW!!! So fresh, so much flavor, and so. darn. DELICIOUS!We started with the spicy hummus with warm pita (so fresh and perfect spicy kick), my fiancé got the lamb gyro entree (grilled lamb over rice that came with a salad and he opted for fries - he basically stopped talking to me the moment he had the first bite to savor and enjoy) and I got the lamb tomato kofta sanyieh (to die for delightfulness). We love having lamb at any opportunity but sometimes worry about it being too gamey. Not here. Again, WOW! We savored each and every bite. I took half of mine home to have the next day and omg. Reminded of the amazing experience we had yesterday! It was a chilly Saturday but this restaurant deserves to be packed to the brim with how delicious the food is and the incredible hospitality and service provided. We cannot wait to come back to Zaytoon’s. If you are looking for scrumptious and mouth smacking delicious Lebanese food, I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

Ate here about a month ago and was greeted by such a kind woman who welcomed us in and made us feel like family. She explained the menu with great detail and even shared on her culture. The food is phenomenal, with home cooked style dishes. Let me tell you, we sure felt at home. It was explained to us that some of the meals are recipes from her grandmother. My meal was so good that I practically begged for the seasonings used but her cooking secrets are well guarded and the reasons are apparent. We’ll definitely be returning!

Guys be careful their reviews are fake!(They can’t even serve 3 people)You Will be regretting for going up there. I took my family there in Saturday and there weren’t any people accept us. The guy who took our order didn’t even check if we need anything, I kept calling him for water he just disappeared.

Want something different than pizza in West Hartford? Different than Chinese? Want the old-school feel of walking into a place that serves food they would serve at home. Where the owner comes to your table to talk. Where you want the staff to sit down and eat and talk with you. This is it. I am of Mediterranean heritage, and this is the food that I grew up with. Brought my mom last night who said this was as good as the stuff she makes at home. Amazing food. Leave stuffed every time. BYOB, which I really like, and if you don’t bring your own, there’s a liquor store two stores down. the owner is so friendly he will leave an offer. Hugs at the end. Order anything on the menu that you want. It’s all good, but always leave one entrée off on ordered. Save room for dessert. Even if you’re not a sweet tooth person save room. Some Mediterranean Lebanese desserts you’ve had, but some you’ve never had before. Just say that I’ll be back would be an understatement.

We came for a late lunch and I was a little surprised to see it empty. No one lingering over coffee or dessert. The smells coming from the kitchen were very enticing and we were enthusiastic about our meal.A look at the menu told us we were going to pay a lot and there weren't especially lower cost options on the appetizer menu. We settled for a falafel salad ($19) and a salmon tagine with a fatoosh salad ($28). We waited. And waited. And waited some more. The salads came and I was very bothered to find that the falafel salad was a big bowl of lettuce a few peppers and tomatoes sprinkled in. There was also a slice or two of cucumber. The falafel part of the salad was 2 or 3 balls of falafel. Cut in pieces. Bringing the ratio of salad to falafel to embarrassing and inadequate. The fatoosh salad was a similar sized bowl of mostly lettuce and lots of broKen pita or laffa chips. Very crunchy, not very interesting, tasty or Lebanese. We ate our salads, me more slowly than my companion because I didn't want to be just watching when his tagine came. However, the tagine never came and a while after we finished our salads, the server cleared the table and brought us the check. Thankfully we weren't charged for the tagine but the total came to $45. For two bowls of lettuce, a symbolic amount of falafel and pita chips. Oh, also a plate of fries, which were probably the tastiest part of the meal (though the bar here was pretty low). It was probably just a simple mistake in forgetting the tagine but there were no distractions like other patrons or noise or anything. Overall, our experience here was pretty mediocre and we have no incentive to try again, despite the reviews here. Maybe our experience was just a fluke or maybe not. To satisfy our craving (cause we weee still hungry after our salads) we headed over to Crown Market a few minutes away for some delicious schwarma, which we HIGHLY recommend. But Zaytoon's...not so much.

We had the chicken gyro and salad. Food was delicious! Flavors were amazing and surprising! Atmosphere was great. A little slow getting the check. I can’t wait to go back!
