Have been coming to Amity Meat market for years! They were always on point, but I must say as of late this place has been slacking big time. Last few visits have not been good at all and today was my last visit! The older woman taking my order behind the counter had already taken our first order finished my fiancé sandwich and as she is taking my order she scratched her nose and left the same gloves on!!!!! Needless to say the second sandwich which was a soggy as mess w mayonnaise everywhere went in the garbage!

I was looking around the website to determine the worth of taking a trip to the store, reading some reviews and all the reviews are from years go so I was like "sure it may be different, maybe I'll still go"! However after looking thru the photos they have for the website and seeing a particular photo they apparently are proud of, I've decided not to go! A lot of reviews stated that the employees didn't wash their hands and didn't wear gloves, well after seeing the photo I posted of a screenshot I took of the photo I found I would say that the 1 star reviews are very accurate!Diseases are becoming more common and more deadly, I would think that businesses were taking more precautions to handle food with more care and decency!

Most over priced deli I've ever been to...15$ for a wrap is a crime. Not worth it. When the lady working behind the counter admits she couldn't afford to eat there, there's a problem. Also there where flies on the uncovered rolls they were selling...

Love the meat & lox freshly cut to order, the pastry's, bagels and all the prepared foods! Judy's Tuna is loved by all.. no other place has matched her flavor! Hey, it's a tough market today with Covid and people having personal tragedies... there some nasty people giving some undeserving mean reviews and it's sad! Always a go to place for many... weekly, some daily for sandwiches, special occasions, holidays... guaranteed quality food!

We bought a14 pound fresh turkey. Upon picking it up and getting it home we found out it was frozen. I called and was told they are fresh and it my have been on the bottom. Today Thanksgiving day STILL FROZEN. Thank you for ruining our day. You guy’s lied to us and will never buy from you again.

HIGHLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Took a bite of my tough philly cheese steak didnt like it. Talk to the manager “ASHLEY” (who was very rude) and she claim she could not do anything. This place is PRICEY for no reason and THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!! Please do not eat here. Unless you like rude people and tough food.

It's sad. It's a place full of nasty, full of themselves workers who think it's a privilege to wait on you. Hey Owner - gruff isn't "cool" anymore. Lots of other choices you probably can't afford to ignore. Seymour has a great market with staff that aren't jerks and prices are MUCH more reasonable. Trust me. Go elsewhere.
