Delicious falafels with fresh quality ingredients. No indoor seating but there is patio seating outside. Great location in the always lively adams morgan neighborhood. Portions are huge!

They serve falafels with wide variety of garnish and twice-fried Dutch-style fries. All salads are chopped fresh daily, sauces are made from scratch and falafel fried in front of you.

Amsterdam Falafel was exactly what I needed during my first visit to Washington DC. The falafel was made to order, perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. The falafel fit perfectly inside of a warm, house made pita. I also enjoyed the ability to add toppings to my liking. For only $10, this falafel sandwich was an all star. I can't wait to visit DC and Amsterfam Falafel again! P.S. the fries are also delicious!
