This a a local chain, I believe. I've never seen them anywhere outside of the immediate DC metro area. I usually like to keep my reviews to micro businesses, but this place is so good, I have to share! delicious, fresh, vegan, fast and affordable (which is huge for the area). I love this place so much. I would eat here every day if I could.

When last I have been was pre COVID but I am a fan. My fiancee had never had a falafel. This is a great place to introduce a falafel neophyte to the falafel world. I say that because all the variety that is the world of falafel is here at your fingertips. A veritable smorgasbord of flavors awaits to excite your even most discerning palate. They have more toppings than I was even area existed at this place. And more importantly, they don't forget what is primary. That is to say, first things first. That is the Felafel itself is freshly made, hot, and delicious. As well as the pita. I am in the process of losing some extra pounds so it pains me to think about my next sentences. The french fries are absolutely amazing. Super fresh, crispy on the outside, and really great french fries. I took a star for the drink options but I really shouldn't have. My future wife thanked me for the experience.

Great concept, but rude staff. I had ordered a falafel in pita , you get one in form of a conical shape paper and you can then top it off with as many toppings as you want. There are a variety of sauces and sides. If you don't want a pita, you can order a bowl and same concept applies for toppings. I feel bowl is a better deal as it's easier fo eat and add toppings. This is a no grill shop with ample seating.

Delicious. Many spicy dishes and not great variety for spicy-haters like me.

Not sure what the Dutch have to do with falafel, but I like the salad-bar build-your-own-sandwich concept. The falafel's a tad too dry and crunchy for my taste, but all things considered it's fast food done right.

I have loved this place since I can to DC in 2014. My favorite spot to get falafel at anytime. I love that the taste it's been consistently great since the first time until now. I have taken some of my friends here and my partner loves it. A regular white is my go to but also the wheat is fantastic. Al the toppings are great, the garlic sauce and hummus bomb. There has to be a Lebanese grandma behind this business because they know what they're doing.

Really good food. You basically serve yourself. Make sure to flatten the bread and the falafel before putting toppings in by giving it a CPR. This would allow you to put more toppings in.

Amdam Falafel is great. I have never had a bowl before usually just late night pita and fries but was just, if not more enjoyable. I always load it up with babaganoush, crunchy onions and the green and red hot sauce. Ohhh I almost forgot the eggplant too.

What a great spot. I really LOVE this place, the food is totally delicious, the experience is totally casual and informal. This place offers a number or positive attributes that I consider when looking for good food in dc. It is delicious, fresh, affordable and casual. I really like that you can have as much toppings as you want and toppings are self service. The offer an ample variety that go very well with the falafel sandwich and bowl. I recommend the traditional mezze dips (like hummus), the kale salad and the cole slaw. Also add tahini. (See pictures for reference) No high-end / fancy decoration. This place is informal and simple. You go there to eat well.

It was definetly exciting to see all the toppings I am familiar with seeing on the falafel I get in Israel. Pickles and sauces, spicy spicy garlic. Well prices but definetly a fast food restaurant. One small falafel bowl lasted me lunch and dinner (and you fill up your bowl with as many or much toppings as you'd like).

The menu is very straightforward: falafel bowl or sandwich. When you're good at something, stick to it. That's exactly what they do here, because the falafel is out of this world! And you can build your own and choose which and how much of each topping you want. The fries and variety of sauces are really good too, especially the curry ketchup and peanut sauce.

OMG. Amsterdam Falafel, I could eat here every day! I didn't have very high expectations, but I was blown away by how great their falafel, fries and vegan brownies are.. I wasn't even super hungry when I came here, but I managed to literally inhale everything in like 5min. Tl;dr get everything -the sandwich, the fries, and the brownie.. you seriously can't go wrong at this build-your-own falafelshop!
