For 15 years always loved the food here, but it's a hot mess these days. Waited 40 min after my order was supposed to be ready for a small order. It was confirmed via DoorDash but they didn't believe it for some reason.

Seriously well priced. We showed up as a group of 30 people and it was like no big deal. They got all of our food out in order and quickly. Their baba is particularly great.

We ordered a pizza and the dough was completely raw. We then called to try and get the order fixed and they promptly hung up on us claiming there was an oven issue. We then called again to get reimbursed and provided them proof in photos and after sending the photos we were ignored.

We LOVE their pizzas, especially the Veggie Pizza. We like extra cheese and add we do an add on of feta. It has fantastic eggplant, spinach, and green peppers. We leave off the olives. The crust is so crunchy and good. it is a substantial type of pizza, not really thin. Get a large pizza to have leftovers. It is even good right out of the refrigerator!! The other must have is an Egyptian dish called Koshari. It is elbow macaroni, garbanzo beans, and baby lentils served warm with a slightly spicy tomato sauce on top, and crunchy fried onions tops it off. Get extra sauce on top. It is sooooo good! The sandwiches look good as does the chicken meal with lots of sides to choose from. We can't go without the pizza and Koshari, not together. Is a great neighborhood spot with good prices and a few table out front.

Ordered through DoorDash and Astor forgot an entire pizza. I didn’t accept the partial order and requested a full order be delivered. DoorDash driver said they would pick it up but Astor refused. Employee at Astor was horrible to work with and very unprofessional.Edit - owner contacted me and explained the person I spoke to was new and that she received further training. The food is great. I will try again.
