I'm not a vegetarian, but I'm trying to eat healthier and be more plant-based. I'm so happy to have discovered Beefsteak for weekday lunches. The food is so flavorful that I don't miss the meat, but you can add chicken sausage if you want a meat-on-the-side option. I love the Eden (I add 1/4 avocado) and the Avo-Toasty (it would be even better with tomatoes, I think), and next time I'm going to try the Frida Kale. The portions are big, but there's no guilt because so much of it is veggies - I feel satisfied without having an afternoon energy crash. Also, the staff at the Tenley location are cheerful, helpful, and fast.

Just didn't work for me. Rice in the Honey Beet Poke was undercooked and hard/dry. When I asked for a refund, the manager on duty was adamant that he refunded me, but I could tell he didn't know what he was doing. Never apologized or offered me something else, oh - and the refund never went through on my amex. I'll stick w/ Sweetgreen!
