Great food. Gorgeous location. I look forward to visiting again soon. Parking in the area is limited but hey that's DC.

Very noisy with clanging plates. Slow unhelpful service. We tried to get tea and coffee to go and stood there forever

I just got seated here with family and we waited 45 minutes and was never serviced. We had to go inside and flag down multiple waiters to be ignored every time. We ultimately decided to leave as no one ever came over. Please work on the service as this was a very disappointing experience.

I've been a supporter of Busboys and Poets for years and will continue to do so, but I ate at this location and was very disappointed. I ordered the Turkey Burger and it came with a stingy "spread" of Chipotle Mayo. There was a small dollop in the very middle and that was the extent of it. When we brought this to the server's attention they apologized and brought more on the side. When the bill arrived, we noticed a charge for the extra Chipotle Mayo. The disappointment is not over the amount of the charge, but that we were charged at all for an issue that was caused by the whomever prepared the burger. It's one thing if we asked for extra mayo after the burger was prepared with a normal amount, but this was not the case.

Always a good choice for me. I usually go for bfast. I have coffee, a variety of meatless meal choices from which to pick, or sometimes I really do it up with crab in my grits. Unfortunately, I can't locate the pics from my last visit but I'll get ya next time. I'm sure there are pics from others. The food is good and the place looks very nice. It looks "collegiate" if you can get an image from that description. The service is usually prompt, although they have a young working staff so at times there is competition with their social media or whatever they are looking at on those phones. Lol. All in all, I'm here for the place and I like that these young adults are working and have good manners. The good, clean food choices also are a plus in my book!

One of the best local chains in the DMV. Take it from a Louisiana Creole born and raised in the bayou state the "Shrimp Creole" they just added to their menu is one of the best LA dishes I've had outside my home state.

Horrible! Staff completely unconcerned with serving customers. Place was empty, sat at bar and waited 10 minutes to be told no service there. People had just finished meals there. When a person finally appeared to take the order, he didn't know how to use his device and started scratching his neck, face and nose. He then said he would get my toast. I politely declined and left.

I’ve been to Busboys in Brookland 7-8 times in the past 2 years. After being seated, it can take 15 minutes before anyone stops by with water or to take your order. Once your order is placed, they sometimes forget to bring the drinks by. Then the food can take another 30-40 minutes after that. This is both when the restaurant is busy and when it’s empty. The food is solid but it’s not worth the wait.
