It was an ok spot. A little weird of a set up but the bartender was super friendly. I honestly think they should have more seating are vs the two big hightops in the middle of the floor

Said there was an open bar on eventbrite and did not honor anything also was incredibly rude and gave the run around for over two hours would not recommend at all terrible place also not enough space to dance in the downstairs sections .

Am I cool enough to descend upon St. Ex?? Admittedly, St. Ex is a haunt of mine when I find myself in the district. Although one might wax poetic over the cocktail list and such, my favourite is definitely quiz night. A friend was visiting from the other coast - a fellow musician - and the attention to old school hip-hop on trivia night did not do unnoticed. Aisiah and I both nailed the answer "I left my wallet in el Segundo" (by the tribe), and treated each other to another pint...which we did not need lol. A fun, not to "worky" place to hang out when your in the area. Have a go.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. The staff was incredibly rude. They ruined NYE. I do not recommend coming here. Save your time and go somewhere with better vibes.
Bartender charged a higher amount for the same set of drinks ordered just 15-20 min before. They try to scam but I’ll be going up there today to get my money. Since they don’t wanna answer the phone. Punk mfs.

This DC bar is a classic and has been a staple for quite some time. I've never actually been here for dinner, but it's my go-to spot for late-night parties. If you want to experience how the locals really get down, this is the place to be. I've lost count of how many times I've visited, and what I love is that the bartenders are consistently friendly. But the real gem is the basement - it's the definition of packed, sweaty fun, and it never disappoints in delivering a great time.

They double charged my card! I gave them $50 in cash and the rest ($10) on card and the total was $60? Why was my card charged for the entire payment after I had already left. The kicker is when I signed the receipt it was authorized for the $10 payment. I need my money back. I would tell y'all to go but this was my first impression and the worst one is to play with my money.

Terrible lounge option. There’s no air conditioning, it’s overcrowded on weekends when they have events and it’s so musty, sticky and smelly. Just not it. Also a hazard.
