This place was great when Jermaine ran it, he was excellent with customers and remembered my name no later than the 3rd visit. My understanding is whoever was above him made the place impossible to staff as they refused to pay more than $15/hr to start, which is the minimum wage in DC now. He worked by himself for a few months and had many interviews, but once the owner or regional manager got involved, those applicants quickly went elsewhere...

This place is tucked away, but near the Spy Museum. The shop itself is not very inspiring, but the pizza was good and the guy serving was friendly and efficient. This hit the spot.

Came here for lunch for a couple of slices of pepperoni. They were pretty good, washed down with some sprite.

Best pizza we've had in a long time and lots of other great food. Friendly and helpful service

This was exactly what I hoped for, delicious pizza reminds me of NYC. We had the Triboro pizza and we were not disappointed!

This place was awesome. We did hit it at exactly lunchtime and it was busy. But they weren't bothered and so chill. The Brooklyn Calzone was fire. The best I've ever had. And plenty big. I was halfway through with it before it occurred to me to take a picture! So, so good. Don't let the mushrooms deter you. Not drippy or mushy. Outside was crisp, the sauce it came with was delish but not necessary for a fulfilling eating experience. Crispy outside and not greasy at all. The guys working there are so cool. We'll definitely be stopping here again the next time we visit downtown D.C.

The guy behind the counter today is running the show, literally! I came in with a group of teenage boys and our experience from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. He’s talented and personable and has the whole place under control. We got lunch and a show! Oh and great pizza too! Highly recommended!

I came here with my family on a Friday at about noon as part of a visit to the cherry blossom festival. Server was rude and short with me and the 20 or so customers that followed. When I asked him for a cup of water for my daughter, he said no, when I told him I would pay for it, he agreed and charged me 4 bucks. He kept going on and on about how he was the only one working and that making a whole pizza would take a long time. Took a smoke break while people were waiting in line. Pizza was fine.Kid-friendliness: One high chair, motor scooter parked in the inside the back of the restaurant.

Stopped in while on vacation in DC. Pizza was very good. Restaurant was clean, food prepared pretty fast. Definitely would recommend.

The pizza was fantastic, fresh, crispy, thin but big slices. Jermaine allowed us to come in a few minutes before close(we didn’t know) and he took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be back soon!
Fast friendly service! After spending a day at the Smithsonian African American Cultural Museum, I came here to grab a few slices of the Tri-Boro. It's only a ten minute walk from the Smithsonian Castle. Pizza had great flavor & was not greasy at all!

Overpriced, terrible service negates decent pizza. Avoid this place.

There in no way you give this more than two stars is if you are really FROM NEW YORK.This is NOT NY Style Pizza. At best it tastes like well done freezer pizza. I understand that some of you are fooled. I’m sorry for you. No love, care or grace was applied to the making of the pizza I had. This is a place located near tourists spots. If you need to keep your kid quiet while you take a break, come here. It’s empty and they won’t mind. The two guys working here seem okay. But it seems like I caught them on a day when they are having a bad mood. I hope the best for them. But I don’t expect it. Yes. It was that bad. The owners should pay for their employees to come to new york to study how it’s really done.

Really friendly staff and awesome thin crust pizza. I love how they sell slices of all their specialty pizzas. We’re from out of town and while we were visiting and dining in many others came in. Wide menu selection with calzones and sides too. Would definitely recommend.
