It's not fancy or anything but Kitchen No 1 gets the job done with fast service (never takes more than 10 mins), good portions, and at least B+ quality food. Kung Pao chicken is my go to, lots of meat and just a little bit spicy.
We ordered shrimp egg roll, fried dumplings, pork lo mein, and szechuan beef (spicy). When I ordered the beef mild, in the past, there was no heat. Ordering it spicy had a nice level of heat and great flavor. #1 Kitchen remains to be our only Chinese restaurant!!PS. I believe they are one of the only Chinese Restaurants to actually have egg rolls. And their mustard packets are nice and hot mustard. Tim

I loved this place.. good food (for price etc.) sad that it is closed now. I went there today Dec. 7, signs that a pizza store was coming, the coke fridge outside, all the menus and signage gone. I noticed they stopped taking orders around Thanksgiving. I will miss the familiar delivery car with the red delivery sign atop! Farewell Kitchen No. 1 you will be missed!
