This place was very cute, but very very hard to find lol. It is quite small inside, so we had to wait a bit since they were at capacity when we arrived. The decor was fun and it was a funky little spot to enjoy a beverage and a Friday night crowd! It was a bit loud if you are trying to have a conversation, but that's part of being a bar. It was fun to choose the "Trust Me" drink and have the bartender craft a special drink just for me based on what I said I enjoyed in other drinks!

Such a cool spot! Hidden upstairs you'll find a cocktail bar that doesn't have beer or wine, but offers pretty much any cocktail you can dream of. We let the bartender make us something random based on our likes and dislikes and it did not disappoint! :) highly recommend for a fun night out or a stop post-dinner if you're with a small group or for a couple/date.Wheelchair accessibility: Located on the second floor, up a flight of stairs.

Fun atmosphere in a smaller space.I love that the menu is small but the bartender will make any sort of drink you want based on your preferences. Very knowledgeable and great service!

Okay this is definitely a spot catering to your typical DC person who works on the Hill and has some pompous personality where your drink demands are highly detailed. Drinks are okay, but not with the price tag in my opinion. Staff was nice enough. Also the drink names in riddles is overdone in my opinion but hey- some people love that kind of stuff. If you're more down to earth, this isn't your spot. I'd say the interior is a bit dingy/musty, not cozy.

This place is ok. The door is just to the left of a laundromat. It's a hole in the wall place upstairs. The vibe and clientele weren't for me. The bartenders were good but it's just not for me.

Love this place. The cocktails are really delicious. The bartenders know what they're doing. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. It gets busy on weekends but don't worry, you won't be three deep at the bar. They limit people to the stools at the bars and tables so there are never so many people you can't breathe.Cocktails can take a little bit of time but that's because they're carefully crafted and take more time than your average bar cocktails. They often use fresh seasonal herbs and fruit to garnish their cocktails which I love. The staff is super friendly and also exceedingly professional.

Great cocktails and atmosphere, especially later at night when it’s more quiet and you can sit at the bar.

I was literally at this place 20 minutes sitting at the bar. Was completely ignored. The bartender slams a drink in front of me, tells me it’s on him and to leave afterward. Total jerk. Jam packed with tourists, too. Has completely become a horrible bar with bad service. Not the same as it used to be. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
OVERALL: fun speakeasy with specialty drinks. Great for groups and dates. DRINKS: the menu is interesting. You basically pick your liquor and two other items and the bartender makes a specialty drink for you. It was a fun experience but very pricey. We all got a different alcohol base but the same drink and each tasted so good. Would recommend this place. The entrance can be hard to miss because the building exterior looks old and like an apartment.

Non-descript speakeasy that is still pretty obvious to find! Really fun atmosphere and great vibes in what looks like a refitted rowhouse. The fun part about left door is that they don't have a traditional menu. They give you a cocktail guide and after a conversation they come up with their own drink designed to your tastes! We were looking for mocktails, so I gave them a description of sour and spicy, and they gave me this really really great mocktail that used jalapeno bitters, and it was amazing. The best part is that the mocktails are reasonably priced! It was only $9 for our mocktails and the drinks with alcohol are around 16-18.Dietary restrictions: Since the menu is not set, they ask about allergies beforehand!Wheelchair accessibility: nope.

Jake and John were great with not only serving but entertaining my friends and I were entertained the entire time we were there. When we arrived we were informed that they recently chose to open on Sundays. Also, the music choices are great if you enjoy Stevie Wonder, Debarge, or similar bands/groups predominantly funk. I ordered a "shaken highball" and received a bespoke cocktail that I thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend searching for this speakeasy!
