Delicious. The Chana chickpeas so flavorful. Combo is a great deal. Highly recommend! Walk tot the food court downstairs and avoid the over priced food on the national mall.

This place is disgusting! I found a hair in my food and my coworker found a cockroach in hers. Do not come here!!

The food here is amazing. In fact it's so good I have to stop myself from eating here every day. I love the butter chicken. I always get the meat combo. The staff is friendly and they give generous portions. This is my favorite spot in this plaza.

Pretty good stuff in terms of the taste/quality... ordered a One Meat & Vegetable Combo, which comes with rice & naan for $10. Got it with the butter chicken and chickpeas, and both had solid flavors. The rice was simple basmati rice, and naan came out fresh so that was nice... but the amount of food for the price is what makes it. It's A LOT, so definitely recommend for those who have a big appetite! (not sure how anyone can go back to work after eating an entire combo) Also ordered the Masala Chips to give them a try, but they were just whatever. Didn't have much of a crisp, but it may have been cause it was towards the end of the day. Overall, fairly tasty food worth the quality & portion-size. Wouldn't exactly make it a go-to spot, but will be back if in the area and craving a quick Indian meal!

Only Indian in area. Very good veggie options and biryanis. In out of the way location in L'Enfant Plaza.

Landed at DCA airport and had some time to kill before my hotel room was ready, decided to take a short walk to L'enfant plaza mall as it wasn't too far and I know they had a food court. After weighing up my options I decided to go for Naan and Beyond as I'm a huge Indian food fan. Menu seemed decently varied for a "fast food" mall joint, I ordered the Chicken Tikka Naan sandwich and a chicken Samosa to go with it. The Samosa was handed to me a few minutes before my sandwich was ready so I devoured it quickly and it was good enough, comparable to some Indian restaurants I've visited, then they handed me my sandwich, after reading about the "marinated pieces of chicken tikka" my mouth was watering with anticipation of taking that first bite, I bit into it and waited for the taste explosion....and waited...and waited and it never came, the chicken was extremely bland and not "chicken tikka" at all, I plowed through the rest of the sandwich hoping it was just that piece but alas they were all the same. Shame really as the ingredients felt fresh but the meat ( which is really the meat of the sandwich :)) let the whole thing down.

I actually went to the place they have in the Fashion City Mall as the mall is attached to the Ritz Carlton where I was staying. Ate here more than once during my stay and food was surprisingly really good. Chicken and lamb dishes were really good and I packed up a couple of chicken samosas for breakfast which I warmed up in the microwave and really enjoyed.

We decided to dine here because their Choice of wraps, combo platter, South Indian choices, sauces, etc. appeared appetizing and decor was decent. But the food we got was literally pre-made, frozen items warmed up. Not to mention the awful service. If you are looking for Indian food then I DO NOT recommend this restaurant.

I went to this place with high expectations. I was thoroughly disappointed after getting the Chicken Biryani. It can feed almost two people with the rice but wait the chicken is just sufficient for half a stomach. The rice was dry and not tasty. The chicken was like it was cooked a day before. I won't recommend anyone going to this place.

I frequent enough to know there are better choices in dc but this is the best Indian at lenfant Plaza. That being said the menu is limited and the prices are good. Expect a 10 to 13 dollar lunch. If you get a speciality drink add 4 bucks. This place is good.. just not great.
Pretty good for a quick serve restaurant! The butter chicken had a rich, interesting taste. I didn't live the chicken that was in it, but it was fine. The spinach & potato dish was good, too! Not the best or most authentic Indian food I've had, but very descent. I'd eat there again.

Basic Indian food court food. I got the vegetarian combo, which includes any two vegetable entrees with a side of rice and naan. I got the lentils and cauliflower/potato dishes since they were out of chana masala :( The lentils were spicy and had good flavor, but were cold. The cauliflower/potato was just OK and rice and naan were hot and tasty. My friend got the butter chicken and she said it was pretty good. I ordered a samosa as an appetizer and it was hot and delicious. I really liked that there was a sauce bar of cutneys and masalas to pour into dipping cups. The real downside is that really wish they had labels for all of their food at the buffet or an electronic menu like the appetizers and desserts. The line gets held up with each customer because they have to ask the employees what every single entree at the buffet is. This would really speed up the line during the busy lunch rush.

5 stars handsdown! great Indian food and love the lamb biriyani. Must visit. Lunch at this place is never boring and menu is different everyday and delicious.

The tandoori chicken is what I ordered and it was disappointing. First thing I noticed was the nice picture of the Tandoori Chicken on the menu. THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU'LL GET. You will not get fresh grilled chicken in a hot platter over fresh sliced onions with a lemon. Nope. You won't. As soon as I ordered the pulled already cooked chicken out of their refrigerator and walked into the back with it. I immediately figured they were going to go microwave it. My concerns raised. After about 10 minutes, the time to would have taken for them to grill me fresh chicken, my order was called out. The platter was to be served with a salad and naan bread. Upon opening the food container, I find super scorching hot chicken wrapped in foil. And it's not a half chicken, it's four small pieces. The meat was pretty dry probably due to the microwave nuking. The salad was nothing more than a half filled food container full of chopped browning iceberg lettuce with 3 small slices of wilted tomatoes. The naan was the smallest piece of naan bread I've ever seen and was also super thin. Do not order this dish from their menu. Terrible ripoff.

As many times as I have frequented this location, I must admit I leave 5 stars for only the Tandoori chicken because that's all I get. I don't know how the remaining menu is but the Tandoori chicken is heavenly. The pieces are juicy yet grilled to perfection with special seasonings and along with my normal side salad and awesome bread makes for a wonderful lunch every time I've gone without fail. On top of that, the service from the staff and manager is tremendous. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.
