LOVE this little coffee shop. Smooth, caramely roasts, never burnt. The baristas are lovely, and they play great, chill music (when not in covid times). The current order pickup system is super quick!

One of the best pour over coffee’s I’ve had in DC, and there are not many places in DC that offer this caliber of coffee as far as I’m aware. Small space with not many large tables for working, but great venue otherwise.

The coffee is still great. The staff ranges from business-like friendly to mild disdained boredom and annoyance that you exist. There aren't many tables in there the clientele is insufferable hipsters having loud conversations on their iPhones. Ok for a great cup of coffee to go but not worth sitting down unless you want to chat loudly on your phone and are oblivious to the rest of the world.

Every employee is so evil. The 3 times I have ever entered this place, I feel either under attacked or judged by them. Once, I brought in my own cup and they MADE FUN OF IT. LIKE WTF IT'S A CUP. Another time, all I said was "Hi, how are you?" and the girl just stared at me and said "What do you want?" I have had plenty of people in DC recommend this place to me and honestly tried to like it. Also, the coffee tastes like straight burnt piss. I just ...I don't know.

Best coffee in dc. I love the oat milk cappuccino they do. They also have great pastries. The chocolate chip cookie is amazing.

Perfect for a quick coffee and desert.

hands down one of my favorite local coffee place of all times.. quality is consistent in all their stores (Eastern Market, 14th Street & Union Market) even the simplest things like their drip coffee or iced (best in summer) are top notch!

After brunch at El Centro, it was wet and rainy outside. Before heading back to the apartment, I decided to treat my brother out to coffee at Peregrine Espresso.

After brunch at El Centro, it was wet and rainy outside. Before heading back to the apartment, I decided to treat my brother out to coffee at Peregrine Espresso. Peregrine Espresso is a coffee shop that specializes in caffeinated beverages as well as baked goods, yogurts, granola, and breakfast bars from various local farms. While I was there, I enjoyed the Jade Cloud Tea, which reminded me of Dragonwell Tea and I'd drink more of it to stay warm.

Start using reusable mugs please. Only one employee working on a very busy day. But a great pour over.

If you are really into delicious coffee like myself, you will be pissed that these shops arent on every corner like starbucks. On the other hand, I like having a secret. I do not know what they do to the coffee, but the iced vanilla late with oatmilk really is to die for!!!!!!!

Good strong coffee! the shop itself is pretty tiny, so not great if you want to sit and talk or work, but if you need a caffeine fix, this place will do it!

Friendly staff, great music, and even better coffee/espresso. Stopped in for the first time today. The cashier made everyone in the room feel welcome. Would come back before going to Blue Bottle down the street.

They really take pride in their coffees and explaining the different characteristics of the coffee's on hand. It is a small location, and not many seats, and they are not that comfortable for sitting for long periods. It's more a place for a quick coffee, maybe a brief chat with a friend, but not comfortable to stay for a while. Perhaps that is part of their design intention. when I was there, they were playing hard rock music, and the general atmosphere is a bit cold in nature. They also have an assortment of interesting, fresh baked pastries and scones.
