I am so glad we found this neighborhood gem. The food was fresh and delish!! We had the spinach dip so healthy and yummy tasting. We followed with the crab stuffed snapper. Yummy!! We will be back.

What a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in our hostess Lena was very attentive. We were quickly seated and served with no wait. The atmosphere and music were such that I was in no hurry to leave. Drinks are great and food just as good. This will be a definite regular spot for me. Thank you so much for the experience.

After reading the wonderful reviews, I decided to try out brunch. It did not disappoint! The ambience, food and service were outstanding! I'm looking forward to checking out the dinner menu. Highly recommended!

A cute little Bavarian themed restaurant in the middle of DC. We were looking for somewhere to have a brunch that wasn't crazy busy but near the metro - landed on here and made reservations. Upon arrival it was clear a reservation was not necessary as it was a ghost town - even for a mid-morning Sunday. I thought this was going to speak to the food, but it did not - the food was good, the service was friendly and we had a great experience.

Beautiful and Black Owned!! My old stomping ground has definitely changed for the better. Seafood specials for non-meat eaters. This place has awesome potential for private events. There's a rooftop setting that I haven't seen yet, but look forward to. Try the chicken lollipops and my sister raved over the stuffed salmon.
We made a reservation but ended up coming in earlier than expected. The place was not crowded at all and we were easily accommodated. I had their stuffed mushroom, shrimp and grits, breakfast potatoes and a mock Bellini. I recommend brunch on a Saturday and trying the stuffed mushroom.

What a phenomenal experience I had here with my extended family in one of my old DC neighborhoods!! The owner was friendly, and the wait staff was very attentive. The important factor of my 1st experience there was how great my order was. I had the Crab Eggs Benedict and Chicken Sausage, and everything was so #Goot that plate did have crumbs on it!! BTW, Provost DC is a sweet Black Owned Business that is sure to please!! #Brunch #GootEats

I've lived in the neighborhood forever and 1st time trying. I will definitely be returning. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND DRINKS WERE GREAT! Neighborhood Treasure!
We had excellent service from Kira!! We were visiting from Pittsburgh and we brought family who were from DC and we all loved everything about this place. This was my second time visiting and it never disappoints! The food is phenomenal, the servers are so pleasant and friendly, and the vibe is everything. Would HIGHLY recommend eating here if you live or are visiting the DC area.

I really hate leaving bad reviews for Black owned establishments but Custer service is KEY for me.I ordered the same meal as my dining partner but asked for a French toast instead of a pancake and this order was refused. The reason was very elementary and could have been easily remedied by adding and upcharge for French toast.I cancelled the order because I will not spend my money for an item I did not want.
